We were on a walking tour of the area with a local and she brought us here to try something unique. I had the shrimp and cheese empanada and hubby had the seafood. Yum! They serve you wine for breakfast. Yes please lol Super efficient service and friendly. You use the napkins to hold the corners to eat the empanada. They were piping hot from the fryer but super tasty!! We paid about $18 US for empanadas, wine, water and a juice

I had some sort of soup and a cheese empanada + a coke in a glass bottle. The food comes very quickly, 30 seconds after you order it. I did get some comments about being a foreigner but when they realized I could understand what they were saying we all had a good laugh. My suggestion is to order one item first and then look around the room and see what other people are eating. There is a good chance the locals know better than you what is good. If you are in the area this is a great experience, nothing fancy but really fun to watch their system work like clockwork. They also have seating outside but you loose something sitting down.
