Do not pass by this barbecue restaurant!! The meats are so juicy and tender! My husband loved the brisket, and the jalapeño sausage, I had the pulled pork. All were amazing! The hit, though, is the warm, homemade barbecue sauce! the service was beyond excellent! The owner came out when we were ordering and chatted with us. Then while we were eating, checked on us again, to be sure we were happy with what we had. We live out of state and visit Texas frequently. We make a point of visiting this restaurant every time we are in Texas! read more

Enjoyed our first visit very much. Enjoyed the Dino Ribs, brisket, and sausage. The brisket was very moist, and we tried both rub options (sweet and Texas) and liked both. The Dino (beef) ribs were great ... very good. Suggestion on the nachos ... add pico de gallo and jalapeno slices; it needs some extra spice. The chips, cheese, and beef were very good; just needs some extra flavor. Service was excellent ... good people!! read more

We tried Porky's Belly BBQ for the first time today and ordered our BBQ favorites. The restaurant and dining area have the perfect ambiance for a BBQ restaurant. They have large garage doors that open up giving an open air dining feel. The restaurant was clean and and tastefully decorated and you are greeted with amazing BBQ smells as you enter. The pricing of the food was reasonable and the service was both courteous and prompt. Out of the food we tried there was one clear winner and that was the pork ribs. They were meaty, smoked perfectly and fell off the bone. We could not think of one improvement that could have been made to them. We were slightly disappointed with the smoked sausage in that it lacked the spiciness and flavor you come to expect from a smoked sausage in this part of Texas. The sausage did have good texture and a quality casing but just needed flavor. A little cayenne pepper and these sausages could be a winner. The last meat we tried was their smoked brisket. Once again it was a high quality cut of meat that had a great texture but was lacking in flavor. The flavor that was missing was smoke and black pepper. If the brisket had been prepared with a salt and ground black pepper rub and smoked over post oak wood it would have been a winner. in conclusion Porky's Belly BBQ does a very good job and with a little refining could be a stellar BBQ destination. They have only been open for a short time and I'm positive they'll only improve with experience. I will definitely return and I do recommend that others give them a try! read more

Very nice southern decor, friendly staff and all around clean establishment. The chopped brisket and pulled pork are moist and flavorful. The sliced brisket was a tad bit on dry side, but still tasty as all get out. Equal distance from Rudy's and I'm liking Porky's Belly a little more. Have been here twice..once for breakfast tacos and a second visit for lunch. Tacos were great and will return. Lunch on the other hand was very disappointing. "Sliced" brisket had been cut into small pieces before our arrival and had spent far too much time in a warming vessel of some kind. Meat was dry and all exposed surfaces had turned brown. Little or no discernible flavor remained. Pulled pork was in fine shreds and flavor suffered from the same issue as beef. Not worth price and a repeat visit. read more

I liked the decor when going to pick up my order. I thought the price to be reasonable. What I was so disappointed in is the meat. The texture was soft, not in a tender way but a boiled way. Sliced beef was not really in slices but pulled apart. I did like the sausage, quite tasty, reminded me of Eckrage. The ribs... okay but nothing to brag on. We had to pay for bread, there was long hair all through the potato salad and we got no bbq sauce. 2 stars is being generous. read more

Food is excellent quality, price is definitely worth it for what you're getting. Service was quick at noon on a Saturday. Wife got pulled pork and I got the brisket with a side of Mac and cheese. The brisket is really good, my wife didn't save me a bite of the pulled pork so I can't attest to the quality but she said it was better than the brisket. I'm gonna stop on my way out to get the pork and return to edit my review based on that. read more

I literally just got home with food from here and my whole family is really enjoying the food. We ordered brisket, Texas brisket, ribs, green bean, Mac and cheese, coleslaw, sausage, and a brisket burrito. Everything tastes great. The service was good, one of the people brought those of us in line small samples of brisket while we were waiting. I highly recommend this establishment, we will be coming back. read more

Solid! Had pulled pork and green beans with bacon-pulled pork moist and flavorful. Green beans had a lot of onion flavor. Hubs had chopped brisket and baked beans-said both were delicious. Had some great looking desserts but was able to keep my willpower. Staff very friendly and establishment super clean. read more
