I sensed another vehicle backing into the space in front of us. It was a big farm truck with a large tow bar sticking out about a foot from the bumper. I yelled and tried to honk the horn. You guessed it ....crunch!!! Within a week all was well. The BMW body shop coordinated with the farmer's insurance company and made the repairs. They even washed the old buggy! Good work BMW!! Special thanks to Scott High!!

It was easy to find as well as get into this location. Interior: the building was very clean the service department was easy to find as soon as I walked in the door. The wait area had a selection of different sized tables at which we were able to sit. There was also a little area set aside for watching TV and there was even an area with toys for the children. Two computers were set up for customers to use. There was also a nice area with a soda dispenser (free) and coffee (free). A vending machine with snacks was close to the waiting area. Staff: each member of the staff with whom I interacted was very polite and professional. They kept me up to date with the repairs and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. Since it was close to lunch, they even offered the shuttle service to take us to get something to eat. Wi-fi: we were able to use the free wi-fi without issues and it was very reliable. Repairs: they were able to repair the vehicle in a reasonable amount of time, especially considering it was a roadside emergency. I have had no problems with the alternator since repairs. Overall, I am extremely happy with this location. They were understanding and able to get me in on short notice. They were able to get the repairs done so that we could get back on the road and complete our trip safely. I would definitely make this my primary service center were I to live in the area.

I brought my vehicle in for service, and shortly afterward, I began…read morehaving issues I never had before--specifically with the tire pressure system, ABS, traction control, and cruise control. Come to find out, a tire speed sensor line had been cut. When I brought this to their attention, they completely denied any responsibility, despite the fact that none of these issues existed prior to their service. Months later, I took my car to a different, more trusted dealership to have my front brakes done, and they discovered that the original repair shop had also removed my wheel lock key (which had just been replaced and paid for), leaving me without it--and again, no accountability. Bottom line: this place will do the work, cause additional issues, and then wash their hands of it. You'll be left frustrated, out of money, and forced to pay even more elsewhere to fix what they caused. Save yourself the headache--go somewhere reputable that stands by their work.

I don't believe Fort Wayne Toyota was acting in bad faith, but I am disappointed with how my…read morepurchase was handled. I test drove a used Grand Highlander and loved how it drove, but couldn't afford to purchase it. When discussing alternatives, the salesman asked what one feature I couldn't live with; I said a white exterior. I was then shown a white Grand Highlander to lease. Before deciding, I insisted on driving their used 2025 Buick Enclave. It drove similarly to the Grand Highlander I had tested, so I asked for a financial comparison. I was offered similar payments to purchase the Enclave or lease the Grand Highlander with my $25,000 upfront. The salesman recommended the Toyota, emphasizing its better value retention and presenting the $25,000 as similarly invested either way. Believing the vehicles drove similarly and the Toyota was the better long-term value, I accepted the white exterior and chose the Grand Highlander. Unfortunately, I wasn't told that the Grand Highlander I leased had a substantially different powertrain from the Grand Highlander I test drove. I trusted the salesman and never drove this version before committing. I don't believe this was intentional, but it was an important oversight. Had I known about the powertrain difference and driven this version first, I would have purchased the Enclave instead. The Grand Highlander is a very nice vehicle, and had it driven like the one I test drove, I would have no complaint. I simply wish the powertrain difference had been clearly explained before I made such a significant financial commitment.

We also declined the extra car care package they usually add on and got zero pushback. I did my research and asked for the out the door price and to my surprise they gave it to me. I of course negotiated a little but got very little pushback compared to other dealers I've been to in the past. I found the vehicle at a dealer located in Grand Rapids Michigan and let Fort Wayne Toyota know and they managed to secure the car and had it here within 2 days. It was the exact car we wanted with the correct color and also had the exact features we wanted. Other dealerships simply brushed us off and insisted they couldn't get the exact car in the color with the exact features we wanted, they even all tried selling us cars that were close but either not the correct trim or the wrong color or had none of the features we were looking for, but with Fort Wayne Toyota they understood when I told them we weren't in our 20's and were in our 40's and that if we were going to spend a butt ton of money on a new car then we were going to get exactly what we wanted. The process was overall a great experience and our salesman Castell was great!!! I would definitely repeat the process and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dealership to others.

You should know what a fair price is BEFORE you engage a dealer on a used car. The salesperson Jake Springer was great in communicating on the phone, email, etc. I had arranged a pre-purchase inspection with a local mechanic, and Jake sent me on my way with minimal hassle. When I decided I wanted to work out a price, Jake and his manager were similar to other dealers -- that "I've got to talk to my manager" dance. I get it. In my case, they countered once and accepted my second offer. Everything after that was hassle free. I recommend Bart's. They seem to seek out good vehicles to out in their inventory, and they seem to genuinely want a satisfied customer. Some reviews would tell you otherwise, which is why I'm writing.

When we took the vehicle to a mechanic to have the AC repaired the mechanic informed us the vehicle had been wrecked and both radiators and the condenser needed replaced. Of course Barts neglected to inform us of this history. Apparently the vehicle was cheaply repainted and short of having it repainted and more expense to us there is no resolution. The mechanical repairs were $2500. In the near future we will be looking for a vehicle for my grandkids and had Barts been willing to work with us on attempting to make things right we may have been back but there unwillingness to work with us will keep us from ever giving them additional business or recommending them to others in the future. I suggest that you are very careful about spending your precious dollars with Barts as their practices are not ethical and you may end up at the wrong end of the deal as we did.
