The view of the Mediterranean and the beach was really great. You may want to make a reservation so you can sit on the terrace, which is covered and overlooks the beach. There are sea views from. Inside the restaura t as well. You are limited to sitting for 2 hours at lunch. A delicious, 3 course meal is 19 euros.

Casa Pepe is located a short metro ride (Red Line) from downtown Barcelona in Santa Coloma (Santa Coloma stop in the direction of Fondo). This place has all the favorites and we were eating relatively light so we only had four of the highlights: paptatas bravas ( fried potatoes with aioli), pulpo a la gallego (octopus lightly sautéed with garlic oil and lemon), pinchos (pork with middle eastern spices) and of course tortilla de patatas. The menu is extensive and I wish I was hungrier. Pepe himself works everyday and greets you at the door. Come early (1:00) to beat the lunch rush. A must try!!!
