It has 2 levels, the more elegant being upstairs, in my opinion. We made a reservation for 10 people with lots of time in advance, and they were ready when promised. 9.30 pm on the dot. The menu is so good... from small dishes to main courses.... there is something for everyone. We had bacalao beignets, tuna sashimi (so good), scallops carbonara , Turbot, lamb I mean... we tried a lot of their main dishes, and everything was delicious. Everyone in our group thought they had the best dish. (It was me, actually) The lamb in its own juices reduction on top of creamy mashed potatoes OMG. Incredible! The wine list is also notable... not full of crazy and pricey wines but with great quality wines carefully selected. In my opinion, this Michelin starred restaurant is not expensive, and it definitely delivers on quality, taste, and class. A must visit when you come to the area. You will not be disappointed.

Really--it's less a restaurant than an economic experiment in how far you can stretch the concept of "a special" before it becomes legally actionable. The entire operation seems meticulously engineered to detonate your bill. They offer "specials" which are not only not special, but somehow more expensive than the regular menu--as if the chef added a garnish of economic despair. By the time dessert arrives (which you didn't order, but they bring it anyway "to share"), you're staring at a check that flirts with €100 per person. For food that should cost about €20, max. If you squint, it almost resembles cuisine. Otherwise, it's just nostalgia served warm. The food itself? Not bad, in the same way that rewatching a black-and-white TV show from the '50s isn't bad--if you like your flavors safe, beige, and inoffensively outdated. Imagine a culinary time machine, but the kind that takes you back to a party you didn't want to go to the first time. Atmosphere? Depressing, like a hotel lobby at midnight or a dentist's office that only plays Chopin. Anyway. I hope those corporate "salary dinners" pay off for them. Someone's got to foot the bill for all this emotional damage.
