At first…read moreeverything looked ok. when I arrived home and backed into my parking spot, the front end made terrible, loud noises, as the mud-flaps were catching on the tires when I turned and backed in. Whoever backed the vehicle in at St Clair Collision had to have heard that noise it was extremely loud. they had to know there was a problem. Even without that they're supposed to be professionals that who do this all the time and should've known even before they put them on that there might be a problem. But they let me it drive home after they backed it into their parking place and heard the noise. DISHONEST! When I took it back, all the manager would do is take the mud flaps off and give them back to me. NO REFUND!!! Not even an apology. I was called back later in the day and told they would give me $30 off of $220 detail. How can I trust them doing a detail on a vehicle when they not only did a bad install of the mud flaps they also let me drive off, without saying anything? to top it off weeks earlier, we let them do a $3000 job on another vehicle. when we picked the vehicle up, it smelled like BO/body odor. Now we wonder if that job was done right?

I spent perhaps 15 minutes with him & provided a sketch, description, & inspiration photos. He took some measurements, went over stain and door options and was off! Easy breezy compared to other (numerous) custom consultation I had to endure. The cabinets were done earlier than expected. The installation was today and I was nervous as I am admittedly a bit Type A & wasn't sure if they would make them the way I envisioned. Well, let me tell you they are everything I had wanted and more! The cabinets are beautiful! Excellent craftsmanship, extras we hadn't expected (like colored light options!), and the installer went above and beyond. Albers is a family owned business and everyone we dealt with was unbelievably nice and down-to-earth. Purchased our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited CPO from Jim Riehl initially. Big mistake. It had…read more15,000 miles on it when we bought it, the price changed significantly when we went to pick it up and we were sold some warranty that was an extra $3,000. Short version is the check engine light came on a few weeks later, they wanted to charge $300 to diagnose it and ended up saying it needed a part that was on national back order. Asked about the warranty since we were never given paperwork for that. They say there's no warranty besides the factory warranty so we're responsible unless it's engine or transmission related. Check engine light does not classify as engine apparently. 10 months went by, I finally went in to get a refund for the part and was going to buy it online. Magically it was in stock. They wanted more to install it, so I did it myself. Light came back on and they assured me they did a thorough test. Looked up the code online and multiple people said to check a sensor easily accessed in the back. Wasn't even plugged in. Plugged it in, fixed. You'd think that would have been seen in the thorough inspection and diagnosis. During that time I noticed the hood bubbling. Was told "they all do that". Body shop would not return phone calls and said it's not worth fixing when I finally did talk to someone. Frustrated I called corporate and they told me they don't do much because even though it's covered 7 year 70k warranty for anti rust/corrosion, the dealerships are independently owned and they don't have to fix it by choice. So zero help there. Tried parkway, another dealer off Telegraph, all had the same story. Was about to give up and decided to call Dick Heuvarre. SOO glad we did!! There was a wait but Corey the body shop manager was on top of it. Had us come in to take pictures, set up an appointment a month or so out. Dropped off, gave us a rental in the meantime and end of the week it was like new. The entire experience is what I would expect from any dealership but they not only met my expectations, they exceeded them. We dropped the vehicle off pretty filthy with 2 kids and just returning from a road trip the day before we were on a time crunch to get it there. Everybody and I mean everybody was friendly, punctual, professional, and the grand slam was they even washed the entire vehicle and even cleaned out and vacuumed the whole inside. Like a complete detail. Talk about going the extra mile. There were no surprises except when we picked it up and it was completely clean in and out. Truly exceptional service. Cannot say enough good things about this dealership and they definitely have us as customers for life. Thank you so so much everyone!
