5 star!! This place is highly recommended to visit if you are at the South Bend WI. It's beautiful, the walking trail has paved and unpaved area on the bird area and beach side. The Port Washington Marina has several entrances, and it's a nice area to enjoy the breeze under the sheltered benches, people-watch, and even go by the docks to check out the boats at the marina. There is a large lot next to the marina, so just be aware of speeding cars - not sure why people drive so fast where there's a heavier concentration of pedestrians. Personally, I don't use the court Washington marina for my boat, but I have many friends who do is a lot of money to keep your boat here, but if you do, you're getting all of the amenities you get free protection from the dock and free power to plug in whatever you need and the water is just enough so you can see the bottom so if he drop something in there, you can easily jump in and grab it but if you were to fall in on accident, it's not too much trouble to swim back to the surface especially great for kids. Port Washington Marina is a great place to come and fish for King Salmon. I caught enough for smoking and canning for myself and a lot more that other fishermen gave me. I cleaned them and delivered them to elderly folks in Wisconsin Dells, Baraboo, Lindon Station, Reedsburg, and Madison. They were tickled pink that some fisherman would be so kind to give up some of his catch. A big thanks to the City of Port Washington, and all the fisherman at the marina. read more
