I usually park in the back of the lot so I don't have the annoyance of engines and APUs running all night. So, lazy as I am 1st thing in the morning, I decided to drive my rig up to the store, wash up a bit, get my drink and depart. All went well until I turned the corner and found all of the lights out for the building and pumps. This is never a good sign. I parked near the building and got out to make sure this wasn't some sort of *hidden camera* prank. Sure enough, there was a sign posted stating the revised hours of operation. It's a 711, yes I know~ and why should it be special you ask?…read more There is no reason, they give free chili and cheese when you purchase a hot dog. Is that not enough to smile about? I live a few blocks away and I do enjoy this 711 for many reasons and one is that it is safe and there are no vagrants waiting outside such as some of the ones on the North Side of Chicago. Not trying to downplay those, far from it, but just giving away a little bit of my experience.
