I've heard a lot of good things about Portside, specifically, that their Chicken and Waffles are amazing so I had to try them out. We arrived at approximately 10:45AM and the restaurant was buzzing lots of people enjoying their food. I had four people in my party and we were promptly seated and staff were very courteous. I was able to taste all the food that we ordered the breakfast burrito and the eggs beni with pork belly were delicious. The chicken and waffles were good but I feel the Waffle could have been fluffier. I feel it's a bit on the expensive side for breakfast but everything was delicious and high quality. Overall cool little breakfast spot with some incredible breakfast options.

WOWWW!!!! so when I am in this area I tend to go to another spot for breakfast/lunch, but let me tell you..... I am so happy we ended up here!! SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!!!! The food was delicious. our server was also extremely friendly and willing to answer and questions around the menu, and also made great recommendations!!! We will definitely be back next time we are in the area! The outdoor seating was nice as they have a big ceiling fan moving the air around!

This place was amazing, I randomly decided to go by myself and didn't have any regrets. The food was incredible, I got the Hogsman Benny, the bread was so soft and fluffy and the pork was perfectly tender with a ton of flavor the poached eggs were slightly runny and the sauce on top really added something special especially combined with the flavor of the pork. The service was great, my waitress was very attentive and nice I was able to talk to her for a bit about the restaurant. Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay outside too long because of the heat but the inside ambiance was nice too, modern with a coastal aesthetic. I'd definitely recommend this place especially if you live locally and haven't tried it yet!!

Portside pleasantly surprised me. The food was amazing! I ordered the Bahamian omelet and the French toast casserole and wowww they are a game changer! So tasty and yummy! Flavor packed! The customer service was great as well and we were seated quickly. I also love how Bluey the kids show was playing on the TV, so very kids friendly as well. There's plenty of outside seating as well. This is my new go to brunch spot for sure!

The restaurant sits back off the road a little and I never knew it was there. That being said, know that we know it's there and so good, we'll certainly come back. It's clean and small with tables for small and large groups. We were a party of 6 and fit no problem. Parking just in front. Our server was helpful and warmed up during the meal. The menu options included all the typical staples, many of which with some added unique ingredient - lots featuring pork belly, etc. Their cheese grits were stellar, as was their pancake. The sausage gravy and biscuits were amazing too.

This was the a surprise in all the best ways! - Ended up here for brunch with friends after an event at the fairgrounds and was blown away. - After a little bit of a wait we got seated, and though we took our sweet time looking over their menu, we never felt rushed or hurried. - We started with Mimosas and beignets, because why the heck not?! - We sampled the raspberry, lychee, and guava Mimosa and each was better than the one before, while the beignets, though small were absolutely delicious, with crispy fried outsides, fluffy lemony insides, and a thick rich chocolate sauce as well. - Each of us tried something different for brunch. I went with my standard go-to of biscuits and gravy, the lovely Spensyr had caramel apple French toast, W. got the BAC Benedict, and J. got shrimp & grits. We also sampled the pork belly and braised pork debris. - Every single thing we tried was very very good!

When we first tried this place years ago it was so welcoming and delicious. It's still good but feels a bit lackluster now. I'm sad to say the Coffee was bitter and the food was good but nothing exciting.

I'm not sure why we had never seen this place while googling in the past. But I'm glad we did this time! I loved the decor as it has a nautical vibe without going overboard. I considered the Blue Crab Benedict as I am a blue crab addict after living in the Mid Atlantic and Maryland for many years. I didn't though because I had never eaten here and was unsure of the quality of the crab. Domestic crab is so much better than imported. The staff at Portside were very cordial and professional. We started with a plate of Beignets. They were surprisingly delicate and moist with a lemony zest at the end. I ordered the Big BAC Benny. Fresh smashed sausage patties, American cheese, candied bacon, chipotle mayo & poached eggs over english muffins. It was absolutely delicious. The home fries were ordered extra crispy and the kitchen sent them out as ordered. The pork belly was tasty, well caramelized, quite meaty, but the fatty bits were especially delicious. I tasted 2 the guava and raspberry mimosas. I loved them both. I'm not a big fan of mimosas. These though were amazing in my opinion. I'll definitely be back with the rest of my family. I really enjoyed our visit and now I that I know the quality of the food and service, I will have the Blue Crab Benedict next time!

We stopped in after church for some brunch. It was about 12 o'clock and the place was fairly packed. We had to wait about 10 minutes for our table, which wasn't bad. I ordered the redneck Benedict. It was an English muffin with pulled pork two poached steaks and hollandaise all over the top. It was good. The hollandaise was a little bland, but not terrible. The home fried potatoes are a good add-on and I pretty much ate it all. My wife. Ordered a chicken sandwich. With french fries and it was delicious she enjoyed it thoroughly. The french fries are kind of like remade french fries I called them fro bows. We both had iced teas to drink, but I think next time we come we're going to have one of the mimosas. They serve mimosas in five different flavors, including guava and lychee. Just gonna have to try one of those. Anyway nice little place. I'd recommend it.

For a Saturday brunch, it wasn't too busy. We were told there was a 30 minute wait, but it was more like 15-20 minutes, which was great. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which is great. One thing I didn't love is that the bathrooms are single stalled and there is not a changing table if you have kids who still wear diapers. It is very bright with great natural lighting from the windows. The menu had a lot of options. We got a mimosa flight for $25 and you get to choose 4 flavors (we did mango, guava, strawberry, and passion fruit). They were very delicious and there were some other unique flavors available. The food was well seasoned and was great portions. This visit was much better than my first time here when they first opened, which made me very happy!

The portions are huge, and so delicious! Ordered the chicken and waffles. Chicken was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice. My husband had the yogurt and granola, but I would stick to the chicken and waffles. We sat at the bar and the staff was great. They were so friendly and attentive. Definitely feel like family when you eat here.

Visited for brunch with family, a party of 5. We were seated promptly but unfortunately, the service was unsatisfactory. Our server, Ajah, was nice but she was not attentive. She asked for our drink order and after dropping them off she left without getting our food order. We were eventually able to get her attention to place our order. Unfortunately, the Philly cheese steak was dry and when it was brought up to her, she said "okay". The turkey club was tasty and well portioned. The chicken sandwich was a little bland. The breakfast burrito was savory but messy. There's plenty of parking though it may not always be the closest. The last server that checked on us was very nice and cashed us out. Overall, the experience was underwhelming.

We had very good and friendly service. We even chatted with other folks seated next to us. My husband got the biscuits and gravy breakfast. It came with eggs and a side. He chose the potatoes (very good). The biscuits are still the standout here. Light and fluffy and addictive. I got their shrimp and grits. I was able to leave off the onions. The grits are a large grind, so they are not the creamy ones, but have texture instead. On top was lots of green peppers, bacon, cheese, and shrimp. It was quite tasty. I took some home. It came with a biscuit, as well. So glad we came to try them. This place is a keeper.

My husband had one of their breakfast specials, while I had something from the lunch side of their menu. He got their "Georgia Breakfast". It had two biscuits with sausage and cheese topped with sausage gravy along with two over easy eggs and grits. He said the biscuits were wonderful -- nice and soft inside. We were surprised to learn they were not house made, but from a food service company, Cheney Brothers. I got their crispy chicken club sandwich. The all white meat chicken was breaded and fried. It was very good. Came with a few strips of bacon, a large slice of red tomato, and a lettuce leaf. The bacon could have been a tad more well done. And the bun -- called a Kaiser roll on the menu -- was more like a hamburger bun. I didn't eat the bread. Got potato salad as my side. It was eggy and slightly sweet from the pickle relish. Good, but not my favorite. I had to get a biscuit to go -- just to try one -- and ate it in the car with the provided butter as my "dessert". Glad we got to try this place. Definitely a good option for breakfast. Although their pot roast special of the day looked appealing, too .
