And the price? Well a quarter of the price Tony and Guy requested -(of course I didn't pay $450 at T & G, they found a way to change that bill. Come on now T & G. If it was Mr Tony or Mr Guy doing my hair, then I would pay $450. PLEASE!!) Finally you can see the contrast in my blonde hair, and it doesn't look like I did it myself! Amazing result! Knowledgeable and experienced, Nathan is the full package. 10/10 for this fab salon. Nathan was amazing, however you could see everyone here knew what they were doing. I will return here.

The welcome at the salon is always friendly and professional. You're given a refreshing and relaxing Aveda herbal tea while you wait for your hairdresser. You will always been consulted by your hairdresser before they begin and these guys really take the time to listen but also have a point of view (I always like a professional opinion). Before your hair is washed a 'ritual' is performed where you get a scalp and neck massage with a beautiful oil. The only thing you should be warned about is that Luc Espace is a training salon which means that while your hairdresser will always do the cut, you will have somebody different wash your hair, or dry it. Mostly I have had good experiences but it can be frustrating at times. That said, I respect that they foster young talent so I keep going back. I recommend seeing Jordana for cut and Julia for colour.

The stylists there always consult with you to make sure that you're getting exactly what you want, my hair always looks stylish whilst still suiting me. A cut and style - for me, usually blow dry and straighten - takes around an hour with long hair. Basically, the only place on this earth that I would allow to put something sharp near my hair. Be aware that they do take appointments for children, but only after school and not on the weekends. But the staff are great with the children that come through :)

I have no appointment and not busy. I asked the price and yes, it's very expensive. $120 for creative stylist. I asked for someone less like a level one stylist for $80 but nobody there. Well, I needed a haircut so I went for the top stylist. Albert sat down with me and told him exactly what I want. Had my hair shampooed then a good massage. Albert has done a good job! Noddy's is one of the few places I have been where the hairdressers do what you actually ask for... I've been here quite a few times and have had a few different hairdressers - they've all been helpful and patient. I'm particularly grateful to one staff member who talked me down off the metaphoric ledge when I declared I wanted to turn my dark brown, undamaged hair blonde (I'd had a bad week...). Coffee, tea and magazines are all plentiful... the shampoo and massage experience is great (mmmmm... heeeead massaaaaage...) and it's a friendly, not-so-cool-its-intimidating place. The price isn't cheap but is far from unreasonable and, so far, noone has tried to push expensive and unwanted products down my throat (a pet hate at other salons). So... on behalf of the "virgin" haired women out there (apparently my undyed/untreated hair is a virgin), I recommend a trip to Noddy's. Try somewhere else if you're determined to go wild and make radical changes... but for a reliable, quality hair experience, this place is great.

I know a lot of people who leave their hairdressers thinking it'll be better when they get home and do it themselves, but to me the best you should feel is the moment you leave. To be fair, it may help that they have a fairly extensive alcohol menu. Only once in my years of visiting Noddy's did I have an issue. The colour they put in my hair didn't stick. In true Noddy's form when I called to tell them, they apologised profusely, fit me in the very next weekend and not only fixed it, but gave me a bunch of free treatments to take home. Definitely one to try.
