This is a franchise location. Cost me $15 US to exchange my $$$. That's expensive; but scary still cheaper than some of their competitors. No banks here are willing to exchange $$ unless you have an account. read more

However it does have a photo machine which is handy when you need to post something with a photo. There is often a queue and the staff are not the fastest, but they are nice and can always give you the information you need. One handy service they have is that if you need to draw money out and you area Lloyds tsb customer you can draw it from your account here.

The staff are nice but always seem a bit rushed. Main problem as well as the queues, is the fact that as the PO is situated at the back of the Martins store, it gets really stuffy and uncomfortable waiting in line. You're also closed off from the rest of the shop by a barrier, so for most of the time you're waiting, you'll be staring at the back of the person standing in front of you as there's nothing else to look at.

Anyone passionate about keeping their local businesses going - visit your local P.O when you can…read more Situated amongst several other useful shops this post office is family run and very friendly. The post master always likes to have a joke and is quick and very efficient at his job. There are two tills which he and his wife mostly man every day except Sunday. Apart from the usual this shop sells several sundry items - cheap toys for the kids, sweets, cards and much more. There is a cashpoint directly outside here but you can withdraw cash of course inside if desired. They are always welcoming and respect privacy by ensuring there is enough space between the people queuing and whoever is being served. This is only a sub post office so you cannot get you car tax or passport forms sorted out here - you can however buy euros.

This is a great post office - for one simple reason : they open on a Sunday! Tell me any other post…read moreoffice that does that. This is just next to ASDA in the Bridge shopping centre. They offer all the services you'd expect from a post office. There's not much to this post office in terms of for instance stationery, books, or all the other overpriced stuff that post offices seem to want to sell you these days - just a lot of floorspace for queuing. As I mentioned they are open on Sundays and whenever I have been shopping in ASDA on Sunday and had a look this post office has not been very busy at all so if you need your car tax renewing, or need to send a lot of ebay parcels then this is ideal for avoiding the queues which you will no doubt find at other post offices in the area whenever you go. Park in the ASDA car park for £1 and get it refunded when you spend £2 in the Bridge centre (Icleland is also just opposite this post office).

You can sometimes find yourself having to queue for a while, but I don't think I've ever had to wait more than about 10 minutes, and the counter staff always seem polite and helpful. There is a large car park at the back of the Asda store, but you do have to pay £1. However, you can get the £1 back off your shopping if you spend at least £2 in one of the stores - this does not include the Post Office though!

OK, just to be clear this review is of the collections office not the main post office…read more If you have a parcel to pick up don't go queue up in the main post office in Slindon Street you need to go round the corner (down Lower Church Path) and it's right on the corner. Only go if you have a postcard (the red or grey ones) and you've had it for over 24 hours, because they will not help you otherwise. The collections office is really tiny, and it seems no matter what day or time you go there is always a huge queue. Many a time I've had to join the queque outside as it's so long. The staff are OK but on a couple off occasions hey've not been able to find parcels I've gone in to collect and I'v had to go backagain. So all that waiting is frustrating. So all in all I'd say make sure you're not in a rush if you need to go there, and be prepared for the long ques (sometimes outside, even in the rain)!
