SOMETHING ALARMING THAT I JUST LEARNED: When you ship FedEx through a third party like Postal Express it makes it very difficult to pursue a refund or reimbursement. This is because the shipping was done not through your personal account, but the third party's.
So, when my FedEx package arrived late and I needed to request a refund, I called Postal Express to lodge the complaint as FedEx told me I needed to do. What happened next, you ask? Well, Postal Express flat-out refused to call FedEx to pursue the issue.
As I have been told by FedEx, there is no recourse for the sender in this position because FedEx cannot credit the individual sender, only the third party that it was shipped through, and they (not the sender) must make the formal refund request to FedEx. Since Postal Express is refusing to help me, I am apparently left with no options... all I can do is air my complaint in this Yelp review. *sigh*
In conclusion, I strongly suggest you save yourself the headache and DO NOT SHIP THROUGH POSTAL EXPRESS. Do your shipping at an official FedEx, UPS or USPS location so that you can have control over issues that may arise with the shipment instead of leaving it up to an unwilling third party. read more
