I contacted them twice in the 2 weeks they had it and only got excuses. I'm a car guy and have dealt with MANY businesses and have never been treated this way. Finally tired of waiting, I went to get my radiator and take elsewhere. As soon as I told them I wanted my radiator because it was almost 2 weeks and nothing has been done, the lady said "oh, I got that price for you, let me total it up" and she came back with a ridiculous price of well over $500 dollars! (this is only a small 2 core radiator btw) I got excuses about inflation, prices of copper have gone up, etc. I told them to forget it I'm going elswhere but then they charged me $42.50 because they have a policy that if they test or clean a radiator even if it's not repaired by them, they charge this "service fee". This is total BS and a scam! I never asked them to leak test or clean it, I only wanted a quote! I knew it leaked, that's why I was there! If it wasn't from an antique car of mine I might have walked out and left it behind with their "service charge" but I could not. This is a scam and terrible business practice. They don't need to do any real work, just string you along and do a quick cleaning/test and they get $42.50 for nothing. You get to either pay the "ransom" to get your radiator back or have them actually do the work and really get taken. (and heaven knows how long that would have been if it takes 2 weeks to get a quote!) I have filed a complaint with the BBB and asked for a refund of this money.
