Poor Customer Service! I understand that a lot of businesses especially fast food are understaffed and overworked. I walked in with my son and the restaurant was not crowded. There was no line to order, I walked up the counter to start my order. It was obvious that young lady was finishing up a mobile/online order. I waited patiently for her to finish, she never looked up nor did she even acknowledge me. She went on to the next online order, this repeated twice. I finally said are you even going to acknowledge me? That is all I needed was a hello, I will be with you in a minute. Then she responded in a rude manner, I should have left but I didn't. It's time we all stop accepting mediocre service and food. I ordered a Wreck on a flat add bacon, she did not put the bacon on which meant I had to wait for the guy finishing the sandwiches to put the bacon through the oven. This meant that my sandwich was not as hot as it could have been. I asked for bowl of chili loaded, cheddar cheese and onions. She did not chop the onions. Overall just poor customer service. I'm giving it a 4 star bc although what I had wasn't great, there are other things on the menu thts good so it's worth the stop still. Today I got the meatball sandwich and a chili. The meatball sandwich lacked moisture and flavor. I added the hot peppers and you can't even taste them. The bread tasted a bit stale, especially for a supposed hot sandwich. The chili on the other hand was actually REALLY GOOD! I loved the flavor and the amount of beans in it. I don't prefer beans but this wasn't too bad. Wow, polarizing reviews. Common theme is ordering online and takeout orders are troublesome for people, and I have always ordered on site. So FYI, I've never done a remote order here. I tend to shrug off sandwich shops because, well, it's a sammich. I know this isn't true, but I just tend to not seek out a sammich. So I'm glad I tagged along with someone for lunch one day when I forgot my lunch, because I think this place is great! Employees are mostly friendly and they hustle to move the line quickly, which I very much appreciate. The cost is reasonable for a quality sammich, and everything tastes fresh and quality. They have Coke products and are diabetic friendly with Coke Zero (yesssss), Diet Coke, and Diet Dr Pepper (also yessss). But what I crave and what keeps me coming back is The Mediterranean sandwich. Great mix of everything and is fantastic every time. I try to save money by bringing my lunch 90% of the time, but I'm always happy when I forget lunch or run out of a key ingredient and have to go get a Mediterranean from Potbelly! My wife agrees - it's a craveable sammich. If I *have to* come up with cons... it's often crowded during lunch (but the line moves quickly and there's plenty of seating) and the front patio needs shade. There are a few tables that are shaded around the side (you'll see what I mean), but the ones out front get full sun and need some umbrellas with our Texas weather. read more

One incident I was the only one in the shop and had to wait to be served or even greeted for probably about 5-10 min then when I did she was very rude and my sandwich was terrible. We love a good potbelly sandwich; however, this store is dirty and the staff isn't very friendly. Every table was dirty, food on the floor, bathrooms were disgusting, and their bread was frozen so we could only order wheat bread. I asked for a fork for my salad, and the guy at the POS system was upset and rolled his eyes. They didn't have any where they normally keep them, and their were wrappers everywhere. Have ordered three times since my last review. Twice they got one of the sandwiches wrong - wrong bread on one, the other missing several of the requested optional items. Sometimes the orders take a while - a recent visit we ordered milkshakes and appeared at least another order with milkshakes. The poor guy making them was also responsible for ringing up guests at the register. Two other employees, one who makes the sandwiches and not sure what the other guy was doing other than leaning against a counter on his phone, but neither were busy doing anything. Milkshake maker guy spilled the blender, huge mess, and he's still trying to clean up, remake them and cover the register. The other employees didn't help. Compared to what we usually get, both sandwiches had very little meat. There were probably 2 slices of meat - folded over made it only 4 layers.
