I'm currently TDY on the time of this review…read more But I want to express some frustration by the lack of communication here. I feel like I've been straight forward and respectful of their time. But some communication and transparency would go a long way. I messaged here on July 19th asking for a service for this week of July 27 and another on the week of august 10th. They replied saying "I can get that on my schedule now". Normally, they swing by around Tuesday. so I asked someone to go check, later in the evening, to see if the lawn gets done but it wasn't. No issue with that. Sent another follow up message on yelp asking them to message me when they're on the way. They replied saying Friday which I agreed would be fine. Saturday now rolls around and nothing. Frustration aside, I think what they do well, is that they were quick to respond when asking for a quote on yelp. As well as actually providing lawn care but this lack of communication/transparency is both frustrating and disappointing.

It was a pretty large project and I'm a pretty picky person, so I wanted to be sure that I was getting the best quality at a fair price. They did a FANTASTIC job! They built a pretty large double tier retaining wall in a steep slope, leveled the top part of the yard to make it usable, graded the entire backyard, brought in sod, ran irrigation, filled the beds with soil for my garden, and pinestrawed a very large area. I was impressed with their attention to detail, their professionalism, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, their communication. The owner went above and beyond to answer every question and thoroughly communicate every step of the way. He also offered several recommendations mid-project that I'm glad he brought up because they really added to the final appearance and functionality. I recommend Ideal Landscapes 100% and will definitely use them again in the future. As an added bonus worth mentioning, they cleaned up the worksite each day and made sure the road and front yard was tidy after working each day. They also repaired every place their equipment drove over in the front yard back to perfect condition.
