I don't think it was by chance I decided on this church...I found the church to be welcoming and a great Christian atmosphere. My "soul" was fed during my time at Fort Lee. I was a bit thrown off by the loud upbeat worship team on my first visit and thought perhaps I stepped into the young adult service, but all services are the same. This is not a hidden fact and an occurrence that deeply hurt the members of the church. We now have a different senior pastor, Matthew Williams, and he along with the elders lead the church with amazing wisdom and godly humility. The atmosphere is open and welcoming and the gospel is put on display each and every week not only from the pulpit but also from the congregation themselves. I would recommend to anyone looking for a God-honoring, doctrine-based, and open armed church. This is our family and we love it there.
