Before the cut I showed him a reference photo, and also specifically pointed out that I have a deformity on the back of my head and need to keep some length to hide it. Unfortunately he did not respect my needs. He used a clipper that was far too short and completely exposed the deformity I was looking to hide. He also made it too short on top and slicked it back (in the reference photo it was longer and swept over my forehead). After getting home and restyling, it looks ok from the front (still a bit short) but the back has me feeling ashamed. He was very nice not to charge me for the cut, but I'm genuinely considering wearing a hat until it grows back.
