The building itself looks good, including lobby and dining area (breakfast buffet). The room paled in comparison. It's small-ish in size. The bed is surprisingly a queen size, though it is clear the outlets assumed a king. The outlets are far from the edge of the bed. Furniture is limited - a bench, a desk, a chair. It's difficult to sort things in the luggage with limited horizontal surfaces. The hangers in the closet are attached to the rail, the type without a hook. For a self-proclaimed five stars hotel, that's a cheap look. I particularly hate the rail is high for a short person like myself. There is a small balcony, but I never use that. They have pool, spa, and likely other services. But we didn't use any. The breakfast buffet looks good from a distance, but items are simply spread out. Only eggs, sausages, and bacon are the only hot items. Everything else is cold. Perhaps they have a secret menu they didn't tell us. They are more of a 3.5 stars. It's not bad enough to call it 3 stars. Rounding up.

The rooms are a good size and the breakfast is delicious. They also have a nice bar area, outdoor pool and sauna. The hotel hosts conferences and private events and seems to be very busy. We visited in April for the Easter holiday and it was full. Great value for the price. The only downside is the limited parking. The staff is attentive, friendly and very helpful. In daylight it is still a nice entrance hall, the lift is small as the hotel is, it only has two floors. The bedrooms need an update the beds squeak when you move, I mean the slightest move!! You do get a full size bath and depending which side of the hotel you are on you could also get a small balcony and if you are that side the balconies are also a sun trap. The hotel has meeting rooms, a small bar area and two large dining rooms. I'm not sure as to why two large dinning rooms as I do not think the hotel can hold that many people. Perhaps they do a good trade in weddings. The grounds which the hotel is set in are very picturesque, so I think the wedding thing might be a major earner for them. We spent 2/12/ hours with her, including a city tour, and a memorable visit to a local Quinta with wine tasting, picnic, and visit with the wine maker and owners. An unbelievable time.
