He spent enough time to answer all of my questions, from how the fumigation works, to how long the warranty will be, to what if some of the roof tiles are broken during tenting. He is also very honest to tell me he would use a subcontractor to do the work. Before and after the fumigation, Melissa and Jestine handled the detailed communications with me in a perfect manner. Two gentleman came out and did quite a bit of additional sealing for free a couple days later. They did a great job and even set two traps in the attic. I appreciate the responsiveness of the company. They did make the effort to make it right. I wasn't expecting them to do what was done and had asked the workers if they were sure they were supposed to be doing it at no charge.

Not Tide Pest! They nailed it. I had an awful problem with pantry moths. I had tried for months to get rid of them on my own to no avail. Bailey said I had been killing the adults, but not the (Eck) larvae. He explained what they'd do and sent an email with everything in writing which I did refer to several times to prep the kitchen correctly. He arrived within the time window stated and was done in 30 minutes. He let me know his eta an 30-60 min before they arrived. He examined my cupboards and hutch thoroughly before proceeding. He cleaned up afterwards-there was only a little bit. Only needed a dust pan Bailey said he'd follow up in a week to make sure they haven't returned. If I do see any, he said he'd return immediately. Very good job and worth it to finally get rid of these annoying insects. I've had to throw out many pantry items and feared buying more/eating them until this was handled. I highly recommend Tide Pest Elimination.

They claim that they had been sending someone to spray and maintain the house, but that is a flat out lie. We recently had a cockroach infestation and I knew they hadn't been coming, probably since COVID. We work from home, live in a 24 hour guard-gated community in Irvine that doesn't let any vendors or guests in without calling the homeowners and checking people's drivers licenses. Finally called another pest control company to come out and that technician confirmed that the house has not been maintained. When I called customer service and told them I'm not paying their $140 bill they sent me, they still try to insist that they have been here. They say they will get back to me, and nothing for weeks. Then someone named Hassan calls today to see why I'm canceling and trying to keep us as customers. Unbelievable. They won't let you cancel without harassing you with calls and emails. Zero stars.

Do not buy into a subscription service with these people. It's very expensive, they will "service"…read moreyour house in less than 10 minutes once per quarter. I actually called them just for a one-time bee removal job. But they quoted me more for the one-time removal than a one-year subscription would cost, and the removal would be included in the subscription. Seemed like a no-brainer. But once that year was up, they refuse to let me out of the subscription. I tried to cancel once and they talked me into putting my service on "hold". Then, when it was released from"hold", not at my request, I tried to cancel. You call and nobody answers. I email and then they call me and want to talk me out of it. What's the deal? Just cancel the subscription! Total rip off. Bordering on predatory business practices, to be honest. There are much better choices out there. And for the record I'm still battling with them to cancel the account. If they drag their feet any longer I'll be filing case with the Better Business Bureau.

Finally decided to deal with an ongoing rodent problem in my basement, especially in light of the…read morerecent hantavirus stories in the news. I spent a comprehensive amount of time perusing all of the different options in Los Angeles -- there are a lot of options -- and finally decided upon Rodent Professor based upon proximity and reviews. I wanted an estimate not only on rodent prevention but also disinfecting the basement and vacuuming up the existing rodent droppings. Since this is the first time I have used such a service, I did not know what sort of cost was involved and was surprised to see online estimates ranging into the thousands of dollars, so I prepared myself for the assumed cost. Nate from Rodent Professor came out promptly at the appointed time and inspected the entire house -- basement, attic, inside the house itself -- and pointed out several potential points of entry into the basement and attic. Later in the day, I received an estimate via email that was in the expected cost range but at the lower end. I decided to proceed with the work. Nate and crew showed up promptly on time and were very efficient in screening all of the openings in the house, in addition to disinfecting the basement and vacuuming. Since their service, I've heard nothing and seen nothing in terms of rodent activity. This positive review is based upon several aspects of their service: excellent communication, being on time, efficiency of work and total overall cost. Highly recommended.

He talks a lot about how mold is everywhere and grid to minimize because I think he's used to all the crazy worries we all have - so understand that's where he's coming from when he almost excessively tried to calm your fears. We had a substantial roof leak with mold in walls - all handled very well and professionally and nowhere nearly as expensive as it could have been. You won't regret calling him. Genuine good person. My home needed significant dry-rot and termite damage repair. After a thorough inspection by Andy and an extensive consultation regarding every detail needing to be addressed, including termite treatment and house painting, we agreed on a contract at a very fair price. His construction crew arrived as scheduled and launched into the project with great energy and professionalism. Over the term of the project the crew was very responsive to my questions, observations and requests. They left the worksite clean and orderly at the end of each day. Because of the large scope of this project, I was advised, weekly, on the frequency that the crew would be on site, averaging three days per week. This was completely acceptable to my family's schedule allowing us time to enjoy our outdoor areas on a regular basis. We opted for spot termite extermination rather than tenting and were only required to be out of the house for one afternoon. The exterminating team was thorough and professional. When construction was complete, painting began with a crew of three to five painters daily. Every piece of new wood was primed and received a minimum of two coats of paint. The team was responsive to every request I made. They did a fantastic job on an extensive array of ornamental iron and spiral staircase. My neighbors have all commented on the outstanding work that took place on this project. Thank you Andy, and your entire staff, from the office, construction, exterminating, and painting! read more

The day before Thanksgiving much to our surprise, the roof started leaking after just spending 10,000 the week before for new installation and drywall in our attic. In panic mode we started looking for a local roof repair company. Andy's company answered the call right away and 2 hours later had identified the leaks and put up a tarp to protect the work we just had done. They came back 2 days later when the rain stopped and replaced the cracked roof tiles, and paper. The next day we were hit with more heavy rain. We are very happy to report that for very reasonable rate, and super fast service no more leaks!!! Andy came back personally to check how the roof was after that heavy rain. My home was infested with termites, and after receiving 3 quotes, we chose POW for their price and woodworking expertise. Josh and his team worked at my house for over a week, replacing/repairing my deck, awnings and wood eves. They were courteous, efficient and conscientious about their work. Most impressive was that at the end of every day, they cleaned up all of my back yard, so there was no dust or wood shavings anywhere! We chose to tent after the completion of the work, and they did a great job with that with no damage to roof tiles! They were flexible in working around our busy schedule and even opened the house on a Saturday to save us money on the hotel. I've had many repair jobs done on my house as it is an old house (roof, plumbing, foundation, etc). Usually, companies will try to sell you something extra claiming it's for your benefit when it it really wasn't necessary. That is not the case with Pow! Bug Squad. They were 100% honest with what needed to be done and how much it would cost. I recently had my roof replaced with new materials, the roof line extended, to provide my front patio with a cover for the future inclement weather, especially during the rainy seasons. Horrible service we paid a lot to have our place treated for ants and a week later we still have ants. Like not one or 2 ants, tons (see pics). I had to put out more of my own traps. The man that came was very not friendly at all and left puddles of poison on my tile. When I called back the soonest they could come respray was 5 days after I called. I told them I'd get service elsewhere! Do not recommend using if you want to get rid of ants!!! This company is the best extermination company I've ever used. I have kids, so ants from the babies left overs, and spiders are super dangerous. What a relief to have Drew come over, super cool guy, always on time! I'm sure most companies spray the same areas but whatever bug squad puts in their spray is much much stronger. I had 3 other companies do the gophers in my backyard until Bug Squad finally came through. Their technician Drew was super nice and even gave me a pep talk for how bad the Lakers are doing. To make matters worse, they had the audacity to charge us almost $1000 for setting up a few traps around our home despite the fact that the technician never completed the follow-up visits -- confirmed by our tenant. This isn't just incompetence; it's dishonest. Do yourself a favor: steer clear. I never post reviews but in this case felt it was warranted to share as there are plenty of companies out there who actually deliver what they promise -- this is not one of them.

Owner Jay immediately responded and came the next day to our house inside and outside and gave us a great price for both the termite treatment and the house repair work. I had first called on Monday and the entire work was completed by noon on Friday. Jay thoroughly explained the treatment options and the repair costs. He and his crew did an amazing job and the repair work looks amazing. Professional, friendly, honest and efficient all describe our experience with this business.
