It was my first visit to have rather urgent work done on my foot. Not only were they able to get me in same-day, but the office team went above and beyond the call of duty to clearly articulate the entire process ... from checking in, through initial consult, to post-appointment procedures, to even how the billing process would work. Being that a podiatrist takes care of my feet and I don't skimp on taking care of them, I wanted to find a doctor I could trust. I met Dr. Powers about 2 years ago due to a foot infection. I live in Bloomington and the podiatrist in Bloomington could not get me in so here I went to Bedford:) He was such a great doctor! I really thought that with the infection he would just take care of it in the office but it was much more serious! He gave me the option to be admitted there in Bedford or to head back to Bloomington. We chose Bloomington because it was closer to were we lived along with family and friends! I was having trouble with my foot, they not only got me in quickly, they were very friendly and took very good care of me and answered all questions I had, luckily I made a remark about my big toe hurting due to a ingrown toenail, Dr Powers said he could take care of me right now, I was shocked, I have been dealing with this for as long as I can remember. Good folks work here! There not only personable but they really do care about your problem! Always very punctual I have never waited past my appointment time so they really care about your time. If you go to the Bloomington office you not only have coffee but fresh baked cookies to go with it (provided you get there ahead of your appointment time).Oh ya your next appointment is set up as you leave and only takes a second. Dr. Powers gave my son a new lease on life. He did a great job during visits communicating with him, accepting his limitations due to being on the spectrum. I was in severe pain with plantar fasciitis. Dr. Powers made a pair of orthotics for my shoes. The pain was a 10 and went down to a zero. It was a night and day difference. He and his staff did a great job. I will definitely return if I have anymore problems. read more
