Of course, that originates from the Mississippi meandering on the other side of the nearby levee. It allows Carrollton Avenue to rise as it meets up with Saint Charles and then the levee. Sai Raj, your organization built on this position to offer superior amenities for all who enter her welcoming doors. Whether it is living spaces, dining, or activities, your staff offers care that exceeds expectations. Sai Raj, I have experienced these firsthand starting with the saving help you showed for my good friend when I had fallen short in helping her get moved in on her first night. I have been afforded private dining to meet her family members. I am always welcomed with excellent nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. My background is in laundry equipment. As such I have been part of many assisted living facilities. The Carrollton stands high above any other just like its position in the Riverbend. Thank You and Your Staff for choosing to exceed expectations.

I had to put my sister there for 21 days because she had a bone infection and a very bad foot ulcer. She needed rehab so she could climb steps and get wound care so she could come back home. Wound care said she didn't have a bone infection, despite her being in the hospital for three weeks, being treated for it, and a biopsy confirming she had one. The wound got worse, yet they kept insisting it looked good. The facility called me one 1/2 days before she had to leave, and they said it was time for her to go. Rehab had not even shown her how to do the steps. So on the last day, they kept rushing her to learn the steps. Needless to say, we still had to carry my sister up the steps into our home. Four days after we left, I rushed her back to the hospital, and she had to have her leg amputated. I feel because of the care at this facility contributed to my sister's foot getting more infected. She also had a foot ulcer on the other heel and was told by the doctor before we left the hospital not to use her heel at all, and the facility insisted my sister use a wheelchair to walk around with and push it with her foot. This is because she does not have good use of her right hand. She was told by one person that they didn't supply towels, and the next person she asked said they simply didn't have any. Everyone has to take a shower in this huge bathroom that has no ventilation and has not been disinfected, so we never use it. The toilet backup occurred while my sister was using the restroom, and her foot, which had an open wound and infection, got wet with urine and water. After screaming for 40 minutes, someone finally came and said she had to wait until the next day for wound care to remove the bandages... really? They let her sugar levels get so low that she almost went into a coma because they overdosed her with insulin. She could only get insulin three times a day. My sister needs insulin more frequently than that because she was not allowed to use her insulin pump. They said they gave her pain medication, but they did not. Every time my sister called them out on something or told me, and I confronted them, they would say they didn't say that or it did not happen. Until she started recording them for me. They were treating her like she had Alzheimer's, and she absolutely does not. The administrative staff was good. They promised me the world when I met with them to put her in the facility. I was thinking they were going to help us, boy, was I totally wrong. The evening staff was a complete joke. People were screaming not to put them in bed at 6:45 p.m. You can hear people screaming from their room for help, and no one would come. The evening staff were sleeping, playing on their phones, and sitting outside with their feet up for hours. I do have the pictures to prove this. The clothing they wore was totally inappropriate. Worst place ever!!! ZERO STARS!

I found this to be a first-class facility across the board. I recommend it without reservation. A physician and nurse practitioner provided medical care and were on site a couple of days a week. The facility was able to contact them if the need arose at times when they weren't actually on the grounds. My room had an adjustable bed with a comfortable mattress and cable TV. Ample storage was provided for patients' belongings. The facility was well-maintained and spacious. The grounds were well maintained. A variety of entertainment, bingo, and activities were offered daily. Transportation to and from doctors' offices was provided and a staff member was assigned to accompany each patient to assist with their appointments. The nursing staff was outstanding. It consisted of one LPN per unit per shift with numerous CNAs who did most of the patient care. With very few exceptions, they were competent and caring. They seemed to love their jobs and taking care of patients. Of course, some were better than others, but all provided more than adequate care. The therapy staff was likewise first-class and caring. Physical Therapy assigned a different therapist to each patient every day, so you had a variety of methodologies and viewpoints. Occupational Therapy also assigned different therapists depending on your needs, as did Speech Therapy if you needed it. Housekeeping kept the facility spotless. I found the food to be varied and good. Patients were offered menus to choose the following day's meals. I would choose Woldenberg Village without hesitation should I need rehab services again.
