My husband is from Recife and came here for a work event when it was very new a few years ago. He would tell me stories about how good the food and atmosphere was from here. He was not lying. As an American, I have come to the understanding we do not cook meat well, and when you have the ability to go to a very nice steakhouse with someone who knows how meat should be cooked, it is certainly a life experience. We started with some meat appetizers, and of course paired with a recommended Malbec. We then went into the main course - a filet with onion Parmesan farofa. I cannot express how good this was!
