After searching for local florists for Mother's Day, I was pleasantly surprised to find this diamond in the rough. While it isn't really traditional in the sense of seeing a bouquet (online) and picking exactly what you see, Kimberly's shop is very unique because you don't know what you're getting. The order form has you answer some simple questions about the occasion it's for, color, and style the recipient might like and they take it from there, using fresh and/or dry flowers. You are able to call or visit the store or leave comments online as to what you want, so they will take your needs into account too. My favorite part is that you give them a price range that starts at $30 and goes all the way to $200 (on the website). I see so many places that seem so overpriced and then you have to pay for standard or deluxe sizes, and delivery, and processing, etc. On her website, I paid $30 plus tax and nothing else! I opted for free pickup. Was I curious as to what I'd get for $30? I sure was. Was I (and my wife) extremely happy with the results? You bet your bottom dollar! As you can see by the photo, it was expertly arranged by Kimberly, and they even boxed it for transport so the vase wouldn't tip over. All in all, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn't mind allowing someone else to take the wheel when picking a floral arrangement. You are able to pick your price and then describe the vibe you are looking for, and they absolutely nailed it! I asked for colorful and unconventional. I think I paid $60-70. The lady I talked to was great, delivery was on time and affordable, flowers of course were absolutely beautiful and fragrant and lasted a long time. They sent me a picture via text before they delivered so I could confirm that I loved it before it went out. I scheduled an appointment with Prairie Petals to see what could be done about preserving flowers from my grandma's casket spray. When my mom and I walked in, Kimberly greeted us with joy and happiness, took the time to teach us how to press the flowers, and provided us with the education we needed to do it at home when we were ready. She was AMAZING! Two months later, the flowers are pressed, arranged in a shadow box, and ready to be gifted to my grandpa for what would have been their 60th wedding anniversary. Because of Kimberly, we will always have the flowers from the day we celebrated the incredible life my grandma lived, and that is something I will forever be grateful for. My 93 year old aunt was just admitted to a Fargo rehab facility. She needed cheering up but we are in California. We called Prairie Petals and they made her an amazing, colorful, and freshly picked floral arrangement at a price we could afford AND only charged $10 for hand delivery. The owner not only delivered them herself but put them on a mantle directly across from her bed in a location where she could see and appreciate them all day. Excellent service! | Wedding flowers for an Elopement | I called Kimberly a week out of our 10/20/17 elopement to see if she would be able to do a bouquet and boutonniere. I am from the Twin Cities, so we were unable to connect in person to discuss what I wanted. Kimberly knew all the questions to ask about us as a couple and our plans for the day to get a sense of the appropriate style. I sent her a photo of my dress, and she came up with the most perfect and fitting pair of arrangements. Since we were doing a courthouse wedding, she suggested something more casual - a hand-tied presentation bouquet that I could handle easily. They were reasonably priced and hand-delivered to our hotel (HoDo) the morning of our wedding to make sure we loved them (since we didn't have a chance to meet in person). Side note: I also had Kim do an arrangement for my MIL when she was hospitalized in spring of 2017. The arrangement was really artfully done and reasonably priced, with free delivery to Sanford downtown. She even sent me a photo of the arrangement (I always hate that I don't get to see what I'm sending with other flower shops) This shop is totally my go-to for sending flowers in the FM area. read more

I recently received a gorgeous floral arrangement for my birthday, ordered by out-of-town friends. I wasn't available when it was delivered so Kimberly called me on my cell to let me know it arrived.
