For an inclusive church DCC behaves as an exclusive club with little tolerance for different views,…read moreeven those views still very much in the mainstream. As an organization DCC is top heavy. Too many "cooks in the kitchen" for the size of the congregation that often don't know or seem to care what the others are doing. Jesus is my Lord and Savior and I have attended many inspirational Bible teaching churches. The sermons at DCC are not inspirational and do not include in depth Biblical teaching. Even the congregation seems uninspired and appears to leave the Sunday morning service with little or no enthusiasm to reach the people of Denver outside of their building with the message of salvation. Churches like DCC have become obsolete and out of touch with the plight of so many people in need just blocks from their church building. I choose to attend a church more in touch with the basic needs of the people of Denver as an instrument of God here on earth. Tom Dammer

It seems weird to write a review about a…read morechurch, but what a great place to find some insight if you are looking for a new place to spend your Sundays. Denver Community Church has been my place of peace each week for almost two years now. I grew up in church and attended youth group but kind of fell away from the weekly grind in college. At a time in my life when I was searching for a little structure, as well as a place that would except my open-mindedness. I came across this place. I actually searched the internet... So I can only hope my review will pop up for another searcher like myself. Overall, DCC has a great ambiance. I felt welcome the first day I walked in. People are friendly and will be inviting if you want to be invited, and will leave you to yourself if you do so wish. It is kind of a church where you get what you put in. They have plenty of opportunity to volunteer, participate in services and helping out in misc positions if that is what you are looking for. They cater to both an older crowd, families and young folk. I feel there is a majority of younger families and young professionals in their 20's to 30's. They have a great worship team that is always changing. In fact there are a couple so you will never get tired of the music. And of course Michael the pastor has an unforgettable message each week. He does not do the typical feel good, daily devotional type read.... He is a scholar and makes ou think. Each week is a lesson. He does not lay things out in a clear message; you have to go home and think about things and actually apply it to your life to really let things sink in. I feel like it is very educational. Plus he is young, relatable, and hilarious. I hope that anyone looking for a church tries this place out! It is a place i feel comfortable and am excited to share with others. Services are at 8:30, 10, and 11:30 so you have plenty of options! :) ENJOY!

This winter concert will be repeated on Sat 12/2. Baker Community Arts (BCAA) is a non profit providing free concerts to the public. Donations are welcomed. The inside of this small community church has a coffered wooden ceiling, wood floors and wooden benches with stained glass in every window. A cozy inviting space. Great acoustics without the need for electronic amplication. Today's concert had Irish, American and English songs.

I…read morenow have twins that are 5 years old and have became very involved in the church in the past 2 years. I love going to church each Sunday, I have joined the choir and now I am a Deacon. There is a fantastic group of caring people from the young couples to the 90+ year old members, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We have people of all races and socioeconomic classes and people that live nearby and ones, like us that live in the suburbs. On the Saturday before Halloween each year we have the Spooktacular that is a Halloween party and AMAZING organ concert put on by Frank Perko, it is standing room only! If you are looking for a church to join or try one out, please come join us! We are a very welcoming group and have a fantastic leadership!

Sense school start they kicked my…read moredaughter out for something that there were other kids involved not just my daughter but sense she was the new girl they kicked her out Then my 3 year old son got hit by his teacher left his cheek bruised and the other the excuses for the other teachers was that he didn't listen that a three-year-old didn't listen. They wouldn't work with me like other school would they would just call me evey day and to me they were just excuses because a 3 years old will be a 3 year old . But that is not an excuse for my son to get hit or get blamed because he doesn't listen. And then the teacher said that there was something wrong with my son Just because he was a bit more difficult it doesn't make it an excuse. If there was something wrong with him he would know right from wrong he wouldn't say please and thank you or apologize wen he dose something wrong but he dose and most of all the doctors would have told me a long time ago not a teachers that's don't know how to work with baby's with 3 year olds !! If she didn't that in church imagine how many times she must of hit or verbal abuse my son behide close doors Worst school I had ever put my son in
