I went here for a work dinner at Prati Italia did NOT disappoint! The short rib was fall-apart tender, creamy mashed potatoes and green beans were seasoned perfectly. My coworkers raved that everything was absolutely delicious, and honestly, everything we tried was a hit. Meatballs were moist and sauce was flavorful, Brussels sprouts had nice little crispy edges with gongozola cheese and cheesecake and brownie desserts were not too sweet but a great ending to the meal, and of course a lemon drop to sip on. Ryan H took care of us and he was attentive in all the right ways and took great care and made great recommendations. The ambience is great for a date night or ladies night and they have outdoor seating as well

Let me just say, this was our first time, and it was such a wonderful experience! My daughter felt absolutely amazing celebrating her special birthday, and I loved that they had a private area for our group. The ambiance is amazing. I was especially impressed by our server, Quinn. He was by far one of the easiest, friendliest, and most patient servers we've ever had. What impressed me most was how patient he was with us. I honestly can't believe he had no help and still did an amazing job serving a party of 21 people! Apparently, he has even handled larger groups! Not to mention, the food was AMAZING! The portions are huge and I will be coming back for the lasagna & Parmesan fries with the amazing sauce. Thanks again!

We had a little bit of a wait because our server didn't realize we were in his section aside from that and them being out of their seasonal homemade soda everything was perfect. Our server checked on us constantly throughout the night and was super attentive. We chose Prati because they are wonderful with dietary restrictions and always safe for my celiac friend to eat at! We sat facing the kitchen and it was great watching how efficiently it was run.

Came here for dinner on a Monday and was seated right away at a large booth. Ordered The Sugo and my friend ordered the three cheese ravioli. Wow, both dishes were so good! I ordered the half portion and I still had leftovers! Very good ingredients and pastas are deliciously made. Great service. Pretty quiet so you can talk comfortably.

I came here with some friends on a Saturday mid afternoon. It was clearly a slow period with not a lot of patrons so it took awhile for our waitress to come get our orders in. I got the mirrorball cocktail and the lunch special which consisted of spaghetti and meatballs with a Caesar salad. The mirrorball and Caesar salad were good. The spaghetti with meatballs was just okay, I ended up taking half in a box for leftovers. The menu seems limited, but it seems like they update it every so often with something different. This place was just okay, there are other Italian restaurants I prefer going to.

Food was so good here! All our meals were 5 stars. The Brussel sprouts were so good! We ordered great beer selection for $5 each at happy hour! Plus taking a lot of food home. We got a table right by the kitchen it was great! The place is real nice inside and outside. My only small complaint was at the end a bunch of small black bugs were flying around. This is one of the better places to eat Italian in Jacksonville! Waitress was very good!

    - Fontina Meatballs leftovers / boxed

I must say the food here is incredibly delicious and the overall aesthetic of the place is beautiful! Our service was great as we were celebrating a birthday and they were able to accommodate for allergies wonderfully! One thing I would keep in mind before your order appetizers is that they do have complementary bread that comes out, but we still enjoyed the toasted garlic bread appetizer. I highly recommend their 13 layer lasagna or spaghetti with dorian meatballs as they were both prepared incredibly and absolutely delish! Our food was also boxed for us at the end of dinner; however, I felt like after we finished some of the portion had reduced significantly, also the entire sauce for the lasagna (which there was some left) completely disappeared. Not a huge issue, but if you're gonna pack the leftovers at least include all the food. Overall great!!

Kayla took excellent care of us at the bar. We arrived early for happy hour and enjoyed a near empty bar! They don't open until 4:30pm and we were there before 5pm. I wanted to see if any of the happy hour bar bites peaked my interest- and yes they did, until I found out my cursed allergy prevented me from enjoying most of the options. We ordered cocktails and the cheesy garlic bread. I cannot have their marinara sauce- that takes out a lot at an Italian restaurant. I did have my eye on the short rib, it came highly recommended. Cocktails- I had the happy hour Prati Mule with bourbon and then an old fashioned after- both were delicious, that old fashioned was made right. John ordered a beer and was very happy. John got The Godfather pizza, I went for that short rib. John's take- best pizza he has ever eaten! Whoa- that's huge. He's currently eating his leftovers. I was so excited for the short rib I missed that it was over polenta. I would have preferred mashed potatoes- but that just meant I ate every single carrot- omg, so yummy and almost all of the beef- again, perfectly cooked, great flavor and fork soft- hmmmm. I love a tender, forkful of cow. Next time, get a table and I'm going to try the scallops! Or maybe something alfredo. We'll see, but I will be back! Ooohh- management, you need more bourbon cocktails on the seasonal menu! I just missed the bacon bourbon cocktail- but the new one had none.

The perfect birthday dinner spot! This is my favorite place to get crispy Brussels sprouts. Everything is always delicious, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. It can get a bit busy, but the amazing food and ambiance make it worth it. The staff is always incredibly sweet and truly makes you feel cared for. One time, my family came here with our cousin, who is autistic. We were seated in the back room, where the sound echoed and was a little loud. The manager approached us and offered to move us to a quieter area of the restaurant, and even offered to provide headphones for my cousin. It was one of the best experiences we've ever had at a restaurant, especially considering that dining out can be challenging if the environment is too overstimulating. I love seeing inclusivity in restaurants, and this encounter will forever be one of my sweetest core memories. Thank you, Prati!

Never again for the breakfast lasagna. Never. All noodle and cheese. It was awful. I'll never be back. Such a waste of money. The service was fine. The ambiance was nice casual. There was even burnt lasagna noodles in it. Such a waste of money. I wouldn't waste my time. Nothing special at all. So disappointed in the lasagna. So disappointed. Soooo I spoke up and Kayla took care of the lasagna. I really didn't mean for the meal to be compted because I ate the noodles. Kayla was a very good server. And I really appreciated it.

Prati Italia is a renaissance of flavors and spice! It was sobriety week at the AA meeting last night so to start off my weekend I decided I would divulge myself with a treat to start my one day winning streak against alcohol. After getting through the shakes from toes to fingertips I found myself well groomed and at the precipice of fresh eating when I entered. After being questioned for my reasons being here and successfully convincing them I was a functional person I was seated and within minutes served my order of Shrimp Fra Diavolo. Though its a bit pricey for a blue collar worker like myself with the balance of flavors spice and everything nice I can say that the extra dollars counted towards elevating my experience to heights higher than the image of the perfect father I always wanted to be. It gives me conniptions just thinking about how low I set the bar. The margarita was also light and well balanced and so tempting I nearly forgot the promise I made to the AA counselor in not "converting the members back to the dark side". Prati Italia is a modern rustic atmosphere curated to fresh and light flavors! I would recommend anyone with a taste for Italian to go here!

It had been awhile since I had been to Prati Italia but I am glad we came back. We started off that the bar for Happy Hour which they do daily from 4:30PM to 6:30PM which is great since more places on do during the week. They have a number of drink specials from wine to beer as well as cocktails. I went with the Margarita for $8 which isn't bad. I also liked that it was nice an tart. For Happy Hour food we got a medium cheese pizza ($10) and added sausage for $3. The pizza was very good and great to sharing. It is similar to a Detroit Style Pizza and had crispy cheese on the corners which we loved. Could have maybe used a little more sauce but we still very much enjoyed it. Would for sure get another pizza again and there are my options to try. We then went to the dining room for our main course. Having already studied the menu I knew what I was going to get for my entree. I went with the Chicken Parmesan which comes with Fettuccine Alfredo. Once ordered our food came out pretty quickly. I love had they pair the Chicken Parmesan with the Fettuccine Alfredo because the Marinara and the Alfredo pair perfectly together. For sure prefer it over a Marinara based pasta sauce. The Fettuccine was fresh and cooked perfectly and the Alfredo was very flavorful. The Chicken Parmesan was a nice large piece with plenty of sauce and the 3 cheese blend was very good too. The chicken was maybe just a bit overcooked but still very good. Not super dry like some I have had before. Was very happy we came back to Prati to give them another try. Will for sure be back again.

The restaurant was very beautiful. I love the lighting and the ambience. I love the open kitchen where you can see the chef's preparing the food. The server was very nice and knowledgeable. I ordered a peach martini which came very quickly and it was pretty good. I will say it was nice and stiff. Lol I also ordered the short rib dish and a side of brussels sprouts. Now as far as the food I was a little bit surprised being that it was such a nice place and it was so beautiful but honestly the flavor was a little bit bland on the short rib dish. The brussels sprouts were great. I will say that I got there at 8:30 not realizing they close at nine so it could be that I got there kind of late so I may give them another chance if I have a friend that wants to go there. I will say it's worth trying because it is a very nice restaurant it could be just my taste buds for this dish.

Upon being shown to our booth, the floor by the table we were seated at was extremely slippery. At first I thought it was due to a fresh mopping and they had just forgotten a sign, but it stayed extremely hard to navigate the entire meal. Let's get into the highlights: some of the freshest table side guacamole I've ever had. Made right in front of you and you get a ton for what you pay for. My lunch portion of my Yucatán Quesadilla was only $9.99 as it was a Friday and it was just okay. Unfortunately, I did have to cut it myself. The "small" margarita for $12.99 is absolutely gigantic. In fact, every drink I saw come out was of ginormous proportion and seems to be the main draw here. Unfortunately, I was a bit let down by both the salsa, as even though there was a full bar, none of the options were all that tasty. The biggest detractor was honestly the service. Our server was extremely nice on the surface, but every opportunity was used to upsell by every member of the staff. A bigger drink, another appetizer, another drink, handing us their card and asking for a review following paying. I normally never have issue with this but it became overwhelming at a certain point. This restaurant absolutely feels like it has potential, but might suffocate over its mistakes in an extremely crowded Town Center/Southside Market.

Word to the wise because they have an open kitchen, if you run hot be sure to dress appropriately. It gets pretty warm in there. The pizza was delicious. I loved the combo of blue cheese and sweet figs. The meatballs were flavorful and the sauce was really good. I liked the bread plate, just wish there were more dipping options. For dinner we all ordered the strip with the truffle fries and the peppercorn sauce. We really enjoyed the steak, but I liked the one with bernaise better. The steaks were all cooked to our liking. They knew it was my sister's birthday, so they brought out their ice cream with olive oil and sea salt. It's different but super delicious. We will back!

While reservations are required, Laura the owner , was gracious enough to let us get transported to this wonderful place you see here. First off, this place is everything! The details from ceiling to wall to all the fixtures, it's very immersive, you are in the islands sir or ma'am! Goodbye Jacksonville! We were seated up front where performer Kalani Rose set the mood and infused the air with her lovely voice. The tempo was upbeat, the volume was just right, allowing for intimate conversation and lively chatter alike. Great for date nights and group outings. We ordered food including Aloha Sliders, Huli Huli Wings , and Furikake Fries. Food was good, would've loved more of the glaze on the mini burgers tho! The drinks we ordered included Mai Tai (rum based w/ orange ) and Halekulani (bourbon with pineapple orange and lemon) , these were delicious. A bit on pricey side but strong! But, you're paying for the presentation and the atmosphere! If you've ever been to the old tiki lounge off baymeadows from years past, this one is much better! The entire staff is so cool. Like really chill. Hubby and I really enjoyed our visit here! I'll bring the ladies next time!

Ate there for the second time last night. This time we dined inside and loved the music and…read moreambience.., but most importantly the food was even better than last time. You have to get the bruschetta as an appetizer. My sons and I had the soup for an appetizer and loved it. My wife had a house salad that was delicious with a homemade garlic vinaigrette. I had the chicken Marsala which was amazing with the house cab I was drinking and my wife had the chicken francese limone. Very tender and flavorful. My son had the lasagna and the other one carbonara with chicken added. They both loved it. The only slight complaint is it took quite awhile for the entrees to come out, the same thing that happened the time we went before. However the service from Joanna, the ambience and the incredible flavors from everything we ordered merit 5 stars.

Decided to grab dinner tonight. Our first experience at Dolce Vita was lovely. But, tonight…read moreseemed off. They were very busy maybe because of Father's Day, maybe because the rain wasn't conducive to eating on the patio where we were the first visit. It took a 10+ minutes just to have a server stop by. Secondly, they only have QR code menu's but, they have an IPad for those that don't do QR codes. Our server asked if we would like still water or sparkling water. We said just regular water. They mention that the still or sparkling is in a glass bottle for the table. They did not tell us that the bottle was $9 and we could not find it in the menu. I asked toward the end of dinner how much a bottle would have been. We had bruschetta for an appetizer. It was very tasty, but a bit on the soft side. I'm used to bruschetta being served on toasted or grilled bread. We each had a side house salad with our dinners. These were fine. Hubby had chicken Marsala which he had ordered before. Very flavorful! I had Chicken Frances Ala Límon. The top cutlet was browned nicely. The bottom cutlet not so much. The sauce is very lemony which I really enjoy, but both sauces were on the thicker side ... sort of like gravy. Both of us enjoyed the taste but not the heaviness of the sauces. We had to ask for bread that comes with the meal according to the menu. But again, our server who was very sweet was very busy with other tables. I would say the service was definitely not the same caliber as our first visit. For dessert we had the tiramisu! My husband's favorite dessert. He's eaten ALOT of tiramisu in his life. This was his favorite! Although we were both surprised to see it served with broken up raspberries but it did make the plate look lovely. We sat at a high top near the bar. The seats were very comfortable. There was "live" music but not at all what I would have expected. A young woman sang along to tracks that I believe were from YouTube as every time she'd go to another song, there was a commercial that would come on first. It seemed she might have a nice voice but it was hard to tell as her system was a bit lacking. Not at all what I had seen on the website or what others commented on. I would suggest not having live music if it will be like what we had tonight.
