Used precious memories to deliver an arrangement to our daughter in Temple Tx as a pick me up. The arrangement is awesome as she says she can smell it all throughout her apartment. We are fairly new to Temple, Texas...so picked this florist for flowers for my husband to thank him for designing our beautiful new kitchen, thinking the place outside looked very cute so flowers must be great. I picked a taller arrangement and paid extra to get the larger size...so this was over $125 or so. It came on time, but otherwise, I was so disappointed. Way too much greenery was crammed into the narrow vase, there were perhaps 6 orange roses, all quickly died...the first one died the next day. The greenery looked wilted, the snap dragons are also gone. The only things left are 4 yellow glads, some green things that are wilting and a few leaves. It has only been 4 days. I expected a larger arrangement and one that would last awhile. I left them a bad review with no response...I expected an "I'm sorry"...I will look elsewhere in the future...my beautiful kitchen and wonderful husband deserved much better. read more

This has been the best experience I have ever had with ordering flowers. I have used other online flower services to take care of my orders. They are never as pictured, I end up paying a huge amount for delivery and the product is not worth it. I was able to contact them and they were able to help me get these delivered to the right place and in a timely manner. Delivery cost was low and worth every cent. I am so happy to have found them, I am in Indiana and it is hard to find good service sometimes. Next time I need to order flowers down that way I will be back. They have a wide selection of gifts in the gift shop from candles, Hallmark items, jewelry, a boutique of clothing and so much more. Precious Memories has friendly and helpful employees greeting you as you walk in and asking how they can help you find what you are looking for and don't stalk you around the shop pressuring you to buy anything. They are also, open 7 days a week so very convenient for any time of the day or week. When I went to check what was sent I'm soooo glad I did. They did NOT send what I ordered. They did NOT call me to change my order either. They sent the smallest ugliest thing to the family! I went to this flower shop to get a birthday arrangement made. I was rather disappointed in the quality of there business, they just threw some cheap flowers in a basic vase and rung me up for $50. I would have been better off going to Wal-Mart or HEB. Definitely a lesson learned. The greeter was okay I'm thinking that she just told the florist to just do "whatever" to the arrangement. The florist did a truly lazy job the flowers are bottom of the barrel and one is some type of plastic. I guess I wasn't worthy of any quality flowers. Everyone else didn't speak, not friendly at all even the woman at the check out. This place seems to have their regulars who shop there so new customers just be careful. Good luck. read more

I happily and often give well deserved reviews and will rarely criticize any service or individual because I know first hand that even on the best of days things happen beyond our control. So to be here now with such a negative review means the conditions were completely unacceptable. I was a professional floral designer for ten years and have many additional years doing floral work for individuals as supplemental income. The homecoming mum that was ordered by my friend for her granddaughter borders on shameful. When she called to complain, though the staff invited her back to the store, her grievances were received rather flippantly and most condescendingly. She was then told that individuals have different ways of making mums. Indeed, this is part of the creativity of floral design. However, there is a standard in any profession. There is a level of acceptable quality that was not met either from lack of experience or from lack of care. The mum was sloppy. Specific but simple instructions were not followed and or overlooked. None of the more expensive ribbons, charms or even the name were visible. Typical design aspects that are relatively standard on ANY mum were not even followed. But it was the lack of concern from the staff that made this experience insulting. read more

I received flowers and toffee from Precious Memories in Temple, Texas from my in-laws in Wisconsin. The delivery person set the arrangement in the sun on my front porch and did not call me at any of my available numbers (I checked all caller IDs). I was not at home and they baked in the sun all day until 7:00pm. The vase was so hot that I had to use a towel to pick it up. The flowers wilted and their petals fell off when I picked the vase up. The candy was melted into a big hardened lump. The whole mess had to be thrown away. Precious Memories has a FTD satisfaction guarantee on their website but the owner said that the people who sent it said they could leave it so they did. She refused to take any responsibility. I asked her why they did not put it on my back porch in the shade or at least put it behind a post on the front porch. She became very rude and argued with me that it was my in-laws fault for saying they could leave it and then she hung up on me. I think my in-laws purchase price for this arrangement should be refunded because I'm sure their purpose was not to send me expensive trash. read more

I've been in this store several times and I've noticed that the staff are unfriendly. No greeting, no smile. They can see me walking around the store, but I guess they feel that they are above anyone else being "flower arrangement specialist"...or whatever they call themselves. I even called once because I purchased one of their Bouquet Of The Month Club via a fundraiser event in Temple. I asked if it was possible that they can make an arrangement for me since I was 10 minutes out. I was on my lunch break, I didn't want to waste my time waiting at their store just so they can make my bouquet. This way, when I got there, my flowers would already be available. The lady on the phone said that they are unable to do that because they want people to walk around the store to look at merchandise while they put together a bouquet for me. Are you kidding? How hard is it folks? Again, it must be above their pay grade to satisfy customers. Horrible customer service. To add to the insult, all six Bouquet Of The Month flower arrangements didn't last but a minimum of 7 days. Thanks, but no thanks. I am extremely disappointed in this place and I will not be returning. read more

My coworkers and I ordered flowers for another coworkers mothers funeral. We ordered a plant in a basket. The cost of the plant was 60$ but $80 with tax and delivery. The order somehow did not go through on the internet and would not have been able to be delivered so a coworker went to pick up the flowers herself and deliver them to the funeral home. The basket was embarrasing. It was the smallest arrangement there and we could have honestly bought the same thing at walmart or HEB for less than $20. Everyone was in agreement that we did not get our moneys worth so someone went up there to speak to them and they prepared another plant for us to our liking. We were very pleased that they had corrected the situation UNTIL we got back to work and realized that when they delivered the new plant to our coworkers home they asked for the first plant back. The plant that had been at the nursing home for 2 days. My co-worker (whom her mother had just passed away) did not even know that any of this was going on and was not sure why they were asking for the plant back but she gave it back to them in shock. Well Precious Memories you got your $20 worth of a plant back but you lost the business of the whole 2nd floor of the Temple Veterans Hospital. read more
