It was his first time ever being away from family. He had never really been around other children either. I dropped him off when their doors opened at 6:30am, and by 8:30am, they called me to come pick him up. They said that he was hitting the teachers and wouldn't stay in the room. I would think that a good, qualified worker would have been able to distract him, talk to him, treat him with a little tenderness, kindness and love to reassure him that he was safe. Did they? No! I work 30 minutes from there, plus I had to get away from work. It took me about an hour. When I got there, he was sitting in the floor with a glass of water sitting in front of him, in the office, with red eyes and face. When I walked in, he had his back to me. He turned around to see who it was. His little foot hit the cup of water and it spilled. The lady saw it, got all huffy, and she really did huff and stomp over to him like she was going to hurt him. I do not feel that this is a daycare for children who have never been in daycare.

You guys should really be looking into this daycare teachers shouldn't hit children or not follow parents rules plus the place looks nothing like the photos have a tour yourself you will know what I mean

This school didn't work out for us. I'm sharing because I never want other parents to feel alone,…read morelike I did. We're still fairly new to town, but I wanted to get my son in preschool to give him the best school experience possible. We chose private school because we like the idea of having more say-so in our child's school experience. We had none. Their rules were so ridiculous, especially for 3 year olds. They complained about my son's lunch every single day and he came home hungry every single day. Some days he was crying because he was so hungry when I picked him up. Their rules for lunch far exceed state rules and are inhibitory. You can tell that no one really understands nutrition and they are following a standard set forth by someone who doesn't know what they are talking about. I struggled with eating disorders in my younger years and had to meet with several dietitians to get it all worked out and truly understand food. I get it. They don't. I think it's probably a good school but we didn't get to even figure it out because my child wasn't allowed to eat what I sent for him. What's worse is that other parents told me that they were sending the same things we were. I have no idea what they didn't like about us, but I refused to keep paying them to try to figure it out. It may be a great fit for you, but if you happen to have issues, please let my review serve to encourage you that you aren't alone.
