I called a few places to get quotes. Kelly was very nice and professional on the phone. Another place sounded good too but the price was double what Precision quoted. I did some more comparing and decided to go with Precision. The man who came over to do the repair was Trevor and he did an excellent job! I was in need of glass to cover wood furniture tops. Two bedside tables and a credenza. I Yelped Glass places, reviewed a handful of sites, visited one other Glass establishment with Precision Glass & Mirror being the second one. Met Michael. Did not know Michael was in fact the owner. Michael took the time to explain options on thickness, edges, tempered vs. non-tempered, finishes...essentially all things glass. Michael was effortlessly detailed on explaining the options which allowed me to make simple choices. The three glass pieces were ready the same day in the afternoon. I will place the glass pieces on the furniture later today. While there, there is a showroom that has windows. I quizzed Michael about the mechanisms the allow the windows to move up and down. To my surprise, I got a mini tutorial on how the windows worked and how to replace the springs in the window. The info empowered me to remove my windows as shown by Michael. When I picked up the glass I dropped off the window mechanisms I needed and his associate Kelly has ordered the items for me which I will pick up in the next 1-2 days. The Customer Service displayed by Michael and Kelly has been Outstanding. The extra time Michael took to show me how the windows worked was a gift of knowledge that will allow me to take care of any window issues I may have in the future. Hats off to Precision Glass and Mirror for an outstanding frameless shower door installation and repair of an existing window in the same visit. Showed up on day and time, as promised. Michael explained all of our options and fully answered our questions in the initial pre-install meeting. Installation of shower door was meticulous and unflawed. Door hinge hardware and door handle are high quality and heavy duty. Michael and his helper were efficient and speedy and they left the work area clean and neat when they were finished. Well we set up an appointment with this company after moving into our new house. They came by and did measurements of our windows. We were Told that we were going to have an estimate the next day by noon. Never heard from them the next day. Waited about a week then my husband gave them a call they said they still didn't have the estimates. And now its been 4 weeks from that time and still have not heard from them. So we decided to go with a different window company that is now installing or Windows a week after they gave us the estimate. I started using Precision Glass about 3 years ago to do glass on about 6 tabletops, I know super easy. About a year ago I started remodeling my showers and required glass doors on all three and since we are really tall people they couldn't be regular Home Depot style.
