Well, at Brasserie Absint my wishes were fulfilled. Fantastic meat. Tasty, lean, tender and prepared perfectly to my wishes, and my husbands meat-dish to his wishes. Intimate, welcoming, clean, friendly people who wanted to make our visit a special one. And it was. Totally cool atmosphere. We got served from the owner, who was awesome. Staff was working hand in hand and you saw they like to work there. My concern was my food allergies. (No gluten, wheat, soy, dairy, peanut, canola oil, ..) And I got served my best meal ever. I had the deer steak, with grilled fennel, kohlrabi, potatoes in an awesome wine sauce. To look at the food and how they served it, was already 5 star. And it was so delicious... with the perfect light red wine from a great wine list. My husband had the steak. Perfectly cooked with great side dishes and potato gratin.
