Recently my mother, 91, was admitted to St Clair hospital in Mount Lebanon Pennsylvania…read more One of the attending physicians from her group Dr. Erlanger wanted to release her on a day where she was completely incoherent and was not able to wake up. When she did wake up to use the restroom she was very anxious, screaming, yelling, swatting and myself and the staff and they had to call a male aid in to lift her and put her back into bed, because she did not want to get off the toilet she just wanted to sleep there. This is COMPLETELY UNLIKE HER! My mother has Alzheimer's disease, but never has she ever been that aggressive! I told the doctor I did not want her released that day and that I wanted them to run more tests to see what was going on. My mother had been put on IV antibiotics, (2 iv doses) for a UTI that they didn't even pick up until a day after her admission into the hospital! The day she was very lethargic was the second day she was on the IV antibiotics. Later that day I had spoken with my sister-in-law and she said her grandfather, who had the same demeanor as my mother very sweet smiling all the time, etc. had been put on IV antibiotics years ago and had the exact same reaction! They did not release my mother that day, but they did release her the following day. Doctor Erlanger was at the hospital and I asked to speak to him I told him that my mother was so much better that day and that it obviously was the IV antibiotics that caused her to be so aggressive and lethargic. He was very arrogant and smug in his response and said no that wouldn't cause that, but when I looked up neurological side effects those things were listed for that particular drug. I was just so taken aback by the attitude I received from Doctor Erlanger. He was dismissive of my concerns, and wouldn't even listen to me about the side effects of the IV antibiotics that my mother was taking. I would never see him as my PCP, just totally rude, and arrogant. Most of the nursing staff and aids were fantastic and there was one aid in particular his name was Toby Small and he was so caring and comforting to me and my mother.

Dr. Fatigatti is one of the best doctors I have had. I have had excellent doctors throughout my…read morelife and I'm so blessed to have found Dr Fatigatti. She really cares, she listens, and she gets to know YOU! Her referrals (when needed) have been very good as well. When my last doctor retired I was nervous about finding someone new as I entered my senior years (55). At 62, and looking back on her care over the last 7 yrs., I may have found the best one yet. Health insurance has changed so much over the years. It will probably only get worse. If you are able to get in with Dr. Nina Fatigatti, you'll be connected to someone who will build that trust relationship and get to know you as a person as much as a patient. She is a 5 star .

I had an issue at 2 a.m. one morning and called thinking I would get the physician on-call, but reached Dr. Pittle at home instead. He helped me through the situation and called in a prescription at 8:00 the next day. His staff always returns calls within a short period of time, and we feel blessed that we have found him.

UNBELIEVABLE... Definitely think twice before giving your money to this practice. Mainly for…read morecustomer service reasons but unfortunately for the Dr., customer service is a huge part in any businesses success. Basically all was well until the day that I missed an appointment and I received a bill in the mail for wasting their time slot. Ok, I can see how they want to make money for losing out on being able to pillage your insurance company BUT when a business sets you up for failure, it is extremely questionable. I attempted to call to reschedule my appointment 3 times before the scheduled appointment. First off, they are not in the office daily to accept a phone call. Second, they do not give you the option to leave a message to let them know they can accept the next patient waiting for service. In other words, you can't get in touch with them. To make matters worse, I tried to explain the situation to find out that they have a zero tolerance policy and would rather lose me as a customer without consideration to my needs. In fact, they continued to send me multiple bills for 25 dollars and wrote personal letters demanding payment and why I should pay, hence logistically losing more money in paid employee hours, stationary and postage in order to harass me over their shortfalls. Since it started taking my time to counsel them on the topic of customer service and the fact that me being a satisfied customer for the next 30 years and taking my family to the practice as well as referring my friends MAY be more beneficial than throwing me under the bus for $25, I decided to bill them for my time that it was wasting. Although I never expected to receive payment and was just making a point, they abruptly turned me into collections and tried to take any harming measures that they had the ability to do so... this time to my credit score. In closing, there are hundreds of other Doctors in the area that don't make you "suffer the consequences" as much as they possibly can... especially the very first time you miss an appointment. Trying another Doctor first will undoubtably save you from the heartache of this "upside down" practice. I'm sorry that they feel that I need to be singled out because other patients do not show up to their scheduled appointments and they need to "crack the whip" but a simple solution would be to allow the customer to leave a message on your answering machine as opposed to not. The first person in the office can then check the voicemail and take the proper actions. I guessing that the first person in the office is the same person responsible for this YELP, so it makes sense that they would rather not be burdened by listening to voicemails the second they get to the office. I will not be paying the $25 dollars out of principle and neither will the people that decide not to become patients to your office after reading about your practice. HOWARD S. PITTLE M.D. P.C. From there I saw an ENT, a Chiropractor, had Physical Therapy, saw my gynecologist, a neurologist, and saw my PCP. I had all kinds of tests done. I was diagnosed with Vestibular Migraines-the only migraine that presents itself with vertigo instead of a headache. My gyne recommended me Dr Bennet to me. He is a PCP but also a Headache and Concussion Specialist. Dr Bennett is extremely knowledgeable. He looked at all of my test results and discussed a treatment plan. I have been seeing him for several months. He listens to what I have to say. He answers all of my questions. He worked with me to find the right medicine that worked for me. His staff is every kind as well. Dr Bennett and his staff are top notch!
