    Fried Shrimp Cocktail

I had such a delectable Thai meal here and it is a short walk from the R train Union St stop. I loved the Mango Mojito mocktail and you can also get a free Thai Iced Tea if you leave a Google review! The Fried Shrimp Cocktail was hot and crunchy and the duck in the Duck Roti Wraps was tender and meaty. The seasonal entree Crispy Pork Brussels Sprouts is a good choice too. The crispy pork and sprouts is a unique combo that works well. The Seafood Karee has tons of seafood in a flavorful curry sauce. Their noodles are also excellent! I loved the Drunken Noodles with beef. It had just the right amount of spice. Definitely order the dessert too. They gave lots of sticky rice! Service was standard, but we had to get our own utensils sometimes when the waiters were busy. It's a big space inside and it looks like they had a backyard area too, which wasn't open on the day I went.

Tried Prem Thai in Park Slope and was pleasantly surprised! This spot took over the location of one of my all-time favorites, Song Thai, so I had high expectations walking in. I'm happy to report that Prem Thai holds its own. The ambiance is stylish and modern--definitely well put together--and the vibe was calm and relaxed during our weeknight visit. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the food? Just as good as I remember from Song. Flavorful, fresh, and satisfying--no complaints at all. If you're craving Thai and find yourself in Park Slope, Prem Thai is absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be back!

Me and my friends were looking for a good Thai place in Park Slope and this place came across with almost perfect reviews. We went on a weekend around dinner time without reservations and waited a bit for a table of 5. The service is extremely slow. We noticed they were prioritizing the takeout and delivery orders instead. Took a while to have our orden taken and even more to have the food and drinks served. There was a ONE HOUR gap between the appetizer and the main dishes. They were also short staffed but that was not an excuse since we saw how fast they were processing the takeout and delivery orders. As of the food, the chicken wings were dry, so do not get them. No special seasoning, just plain fried dry wings with a side of sweet chili sauce to dip. The pad thai was too saucy and wet. Not a pleasant dish to eat. The Chuu Chee salmon Panang curry was good, I just wished it came with more curry sauce. In exchange for a Google review, they were offering either a complimentary Thai iced tea or 5% off your check. Since the service was so slow, many tables were not cleaned until a lot later and we noticed that no one finished their Thai iced tea. That tells you something about the drinks. I couldn't see myself writing a rushed review. I needed time to write about the bad experience we had. There is 20% gratuity automatically included for a party of 5 regardless of the quality of the service. Overall, nice ambiance, mediocre food and terrible service. I would not come back.

A fantastic Thai restaurant located in Park Slope. Came on a Monday evening with the fiancee for dinner. Love the wooden interior that makes it warm and inviting. They even have a outdoor back patio, but was closed as it was the winter and too cold for that. Service is great as our waitress was super friendly and attentive. For appetizers, we tried the Duck Roti Wraps ($14) and Peanut Dumplings ($12). The Duck Roti Wrap is a new menu items and it was delicious. The Peanut Dumpling were unique and also delicious. For entree, we ordered the Chun Chee Salmon Panang Curry ($28). The salmon tasted wonderful, but the highlight of the dish is the Panang Curry. Soak that salmon in that curry and it's one orgasmic bite. Take some of that curry and mix it in with jasmine rice for enhanced taste. We also ordered the Crispy Branzino Sweet Chili Sauce ($35), which is a fried whole Branzino topped with homemade Thai sweet chili sauce, served with steamed mixed vegetables and Jasmine rice. It was served in a unique way and was filleted, so you don't really have to worry about the bones. Another excellent choice. Since this was a Thai dinner, we had to end it with a Mango Sticky Rice ($14), which is as good as you can imagine.

Have gotten a takeout here a couple of times now and they're always super fast making the food! The first time I went it was fine, kind of a let down. Got a lunch special and the wings were good but I thought the bad see ew was pretty meh. Went back again for the dinner special and it was great! Dinner special comes with a drink, 1/2 an appetizer and a main course. Thai iced tea was top notch, the crab rangoons were a little burned but delicious and the drunken noodles were juuuust the right sorta pain when it comes to spiciness level. I also got a free order of dumplings with it (sometimes DoorDash has those deals that make it worth it). They were ground peanut and vegetable and they were blue and absolutely delightful.

    Pad See Ew Noodle

Heity hey heity ho this pad see ew was really good yo. The beef was tasty and the Thai tea was bussin. I just one problem with the broccoli, it wasn't crunching. If you change out the broc you can bet your left sock, I'll come by for lunch and tell you, you rock

Loved this spot in Brooklyn! Great Thai food with big portions and solid flavors. The duck roti wrap and tom yum hot pot were standouts. Super spacious, lots of menu options, and daily specials even on weekends. Bonus: they gave us free Thai tea for leaving a Google review--delicious!

Wow! Swanky newish Thai place, opened in 2024. Really nice decor, they put a lot of effort into aesthetics. Friendly servers who are happy to answer questions about dietary stuff (eg vegetarian). Definitely order the peanut dumping appetizer to share, they're blue! Slightly sweet. The tofu peanut lover is a great entree, it's warm and healthy (not fried). Excellent range of cocktails, mocktails, sake, juices, etc. I really don't understand how there isn't a line to get in, it's the best Thai in the area. Accessible gender neutral restroom.

Really enjoyed our lunch at Prem in Brooklyn. The place has a calm, elegant vibe. We loved the Thai pork belly and the fried shrimp cocktail -- so good! The Branzino in the garden and the Prem Signature Tom Yum were full of flavor. Dessert was the mango coconut soufflé, and the Piña Colada and Mango Mojito cocktails were great. Definitely recommend if you're looking for tasty, refined Thai food

    Drunken Noodle
    Nafisa H.

Based on a lot of other reviews we tried the green curry and the drunken noodles with tofu. The green curry was delicious but I was surprised with how little noodles there were in the drunken noodles dish. They were really generous with the tofu which I was appreciative of. Service was really kind and attentive as we also brought our baby with us. Great spacious space for lunch and dinner. Will definitely be returning to try other items!

Went there with friends last night. We ordered Duck Roti Wraps and Thai Herbs Chicken Wings. The appetizers are good BUT their Tom Yum Seafood Hot Pot and Fried Fish Pad Cha are way too flavorful which too salty. I finished 2 full cups of water on top of my cocktail drink. We did let the waiter know the tom yum soup is too salty plus we asked for a cup of hot water to add into the bowl. Overall dinning is disappointing will be our last visit there.

Very nice Thai restaurant. The pork soup and drunken noodles are amazing, and the appetizers never disappoint. The dining area is beautiful!

My friend and I stopped by this past Wednesday and were completely blown away by how incredible the food was. We ordered a variety of dishes, and every single one was perfectly seasoned with just the right kick of spice -- enough to tickle the back of your throat without overpowering the flavors. The portion sizes were another pleasant surprise -- generous and absolutely worth every penny no matter what you choose. But the real star of the night came at dessert: the Banana Mango Fried Roll. Imagine a dessert-style egg roll -- golden and crispy on the outside, with a warm, delicate filling of bananas and mango that's soft, light, and comforting. We found ourselves scraping the plate clean by the end! The service was excellent as well. Very attentive and courteous. The atmosphere here is just as inviting as the food -- cozy, welcoming, and almost like dining in someone's home. Whether you're planning a family dinner, grabbing a quick lunch, or looking for a charming spot for date night, this place delivers. If you find yourself in Park Slope, make sure to stop by -- you won't regret it. For more great restaurant finds, follow me on Instagram @blaze_eatsnyc!

Our group of 4 started with a bottle of Pinot Grigio and a few appetizers to share, namely: Som tum papaya salad and dumplings curry. For the main entree, my eyes caught the attention of clay pot mix-fried rice with shrimp, chicken, sweet sausage, and my partner chose shrimp pad thai. Nothing really stood out with the dishes; I found it to be a bit Americanized, having eaten in so many Thai restaurants around New York City. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here; our food came in timely fashion, and the customer service is good as well, but it's probably not your place if you are seeking a more authentic Thai-style cooking.

PLEASE get the mango stick rice cocktail omg it was gone in like 5 sips because it was so good. The tuna ceviche was so refreshing and the sauce had a little kick to it which I absolutely loved! It was like a sprinkle of Thai on a classic tuna ceviche. Note the taro chips are a little thicker than a typical chip! The pork jowl wasn't as crispy as I expected but it was still flavorful and the portion size was huge, considering how it was an appetizer. We got pineapple lychee crispy duck, crab fried rice, and kana crispy pork over rice as our entree. ALL WERE SO GOOD! The curry for the pineapple lychee crispy duck was so creamy and flavorful, with the duck portion being huge and being the perfect texture. I loved that it was crispy and didn't get soggy fast in the curry. The crab fried rice was top tier as there were SO MANY HUGE CRAB PIECES!! You can definitely tell that it had flavors of seafood/crab.. they did not skimp out! And the kana crispy pork over rice was huge portion as well, but note that it was a big strong/saltier than the other dishes. For dessert, the pandan coconut pudding custard was SO yummy. We ordered quite a bit and honestly, everything was on point: · Lychee Thai Iced Tea & Yuzu Pop - both refreshing and not too sweet (huge plus for me since I don't have a big sweet tooth). · Moo Ping - solid start to the meal. · Salmon Mango (GF) - the salmon was cooked through (which I asked for), and the mango salad underneath was light and tangy. The sweet fruit with the savory fish worked way better than I expected. · Pineapple Fried Rice - came with shrimp, nice wok aroma, and that perfect sweet-tangy pineapple kick. · Pineapple Lychee Crispy Duck (GF) - duck skin was nice and crispy, and the coconut-based sauce with lychee and pineapple kept it from feeling heavy or greasy. · Branzino Chili Lime (GF) - came out piping hot, classic Thai-style sour broth that paired perfectly with the fish. No fishy taste at all, and the texture was tender. Even the drinks and dessert weren't overly sweet, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, really enjoyed the meal here -- flavors are solid, service was friendly, and you can feel the effort they put into the experience. Definitely coming back!

Lunch in Brooklyn during in-between meetings of my professional duties of a Wednesday afternoon…read moresummons Thai cuisine. Pad Kee Mao (aka Drunken Noodles), chicken $15.00 Stir-fried flat rice noodle, bamboo shoots, garlic, basil, fresh chili, onion, carrot, string bean, bell pepper, long hot chili The flat rice noodle quantity was sufficient, but minimal and there were too much onion, insufficient string bean, two paucity pieces of carrot. I dislike bamboo shoot which is not a standard ingredient for this particular entrée. I think the bamboo shoot tainted this entrée. I am a traditionalist conservative which bean sprouts is a good substitute variation for bamboo shoot vegetable including string bean. This entrée is my favorite default and as a caveat, if any Thai restaurant or cafe do not offer on their menu I refuse entry to patronize. This entrée enticed my interest and embedded the lunch meal menu for the reasonable price. I personally despise and do not consume spicy hot foods, but occasionally consume mild or very mild in the smallest measurement of the Scoville scale which I specifically requested, but received medium hot spicy. The waitress forewarned me the intense heat level on the Scoville scale as Thai cultural spicy with two or more bird's eye chilies for a high level of spiciness. The spiciness of chili peppers were, in my opinion, medium spicy. Despite the intense medium heat spiciness, the stir-fried noodles lacked flavor with, tender chicken, minimal vegetables, and Thai basil in a bland taste. I wish I chosen shrimp as the protein. Pad Kee Mao sustained my hunger pangs and ate my fill. When eating Thai intense heat spicy foods, I visualize to think of the TV segment "Niall Horan & James Corden Take On Hot Wings" on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" in March, 2020. High heat spicy foods! Thai ice tea, large $3.00 This was a delight and neutralized the heat spiciness because it contains milk. It was served chilled in a large highball glass. My partner was running late, and even though the place is clearly very popular right now, they still accommodated us with a table. The staff explained every unfamiliar dish we asked about, always with a smile. I usually avoid the standard NYC Thai restaurant lineup of pad thai + generic curry situations and look for places that feel more regional and authentic. The menu here had a bunch of dishes I didn't recognize, which immediately made me excited. They even have a spice guide though the icons don't necessarily mean increasing spice levels. As I understood it, different symbols represent different types of heat. Three chili emojis and three meteor emojis may be equally spicy, but they hit differently. They recommended not to order the pad krapow nuer, and honestly, fair enough. Instead, we got the chicken khao soi, which was far better than versions I've had elsewhere - deeply flavorful, spicy, rich with umami. My partner was crying. I, meanwhile, was at "this is perfect and I'm having a great time." One Huge chunk of chicken cooked exactly right. Mix everything thoroughly before eating. Then came the kua kling which arrived with another warning. That dish became my personal challenge to impress the server, and apparently I succeeded because now they've promised that next time they won't discourage me from ordering the nuer. They kept refilling cabbage and cucumber for us to cool down from the heat. The kua kling itself was incredible. That dry curry heat was everything. It builds slowly, then suddenly punches you in the face - but alongside all that spice is an insane amount of flavor. They also recommended to order a non-spicy side dish to have a balanced meal and spice level, but we skipped it because it would've been too much food. Honestly, this is the kind of place where going with at least four people is ideal so you can try more dishes and balance the spice levels. And if you're unsure what to order, trust the servers - their recommendations were spot on. Also: really great ciders and beers. We were really happy with both choices. Overall, even though it's far from the city for me, I'd absolutely go back.

The restaurant is tiny, so be sure to make a reservation. As a lover of spicy food, the spiciness in the dishes really brought out such a great flavor. Since my friend didn't eat as spicy, we found a happy medium getting just slightly spicy dishes which were all fantastic. We ordered the Khao Soi ($33) and Pla Tod Nam Pla ($40). The khao soi wasn't too spicy, especially since the broth has a creaminess and the spicies are on the side before mixing, which you can exclude. The chicken was so tender, but did come with bone so this can be trickier to share. Then the pla tod really surprised me, but I can definitely see why it's the best seller. It is a fried branzino with a marinated fish sauce which goes so nicely with all the crunch. There are a few remaining pieces of bone, so be careful. The fish had a nice balance of fish meat and crunchy skin. If you're looking for a unique Thai spot, this is it. Also, perfect spot for spicy lovers too. They also offer a huge selection of alcohol.
