I would give this practice zero stars if I could. This was, without question, one of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever had with a medical office. I scheduled my appointment more than a month in advance, knowing this consultation was only the first step before likely waiting another month or more for treatment. I took time out of my day, drove to the office, and arrived 20 minutes early, only to be told that my appointment had been moved. The problem? No one bothered to notify me. I never received a phone call, voicemail, email, or text message. Instead, I was expected to accept that my appointment had simply been changed without my knowledge after I'd already invested my time and made the trip. The double standard is astounding. If I had failed to show up without notice, I'm sure there would have been consequences. Yet when the office changes an appointment without informing the patient, the burden falls entirely on the patient. My time, gas, and schedule apparently have no value. What makes this especially frustrating is that I've already waited over a month for this consultation, and now I'm forced to wait even longer because of a mistake that was entirely the office's responsibility. When people seek medical care, they're often dealing with pain, anxiety, or other health concerns. Delaying their care because of poor communication is unacceptable. The name "Premier Urology" sets an expectation of professionalism and respect for patients. Unfortunately, my experience reflected neither. Basic communication is the bare minimum any medical practice should be able to provide, and this office failed at it completely. If this is how they treat new patients before they're even been seen, I have serious concerns about how they operate overall. I will be taking my healthcare elsewhere, and I cannot recommend this practice to anyone who values their time or expects even the most basic level of professionalism. read more

I recently had surgery with dr. Kromboltz. AWFUL. I was told it would be approx. 2-4 weeks recovery. I am now on my 10th week. The stitches if there were any broke and I was left with A large gaping whole in my testicals. He did not explain the procedure properly. It was supposed to be 20 minutes and a small incision. It was 2 hours and a very large incision. I was sent home even though I was very sick because they had other patients. It a Was a chop shop. I would never go back to him or Premier. read more

I'm in the 3rd week of a failed procedure with Premier Urology and have attempted to speak with a provider for 3 weeks. I've driven to the practice for help to no avail as well. No one ever responded to multiple calls until tonight, in my 3rd post op week of pain, Thanksgiving Eve. This "so called" MD was who called back, was unequivocally the rudest "provider " I've ever encountered in my adult life , who not only interrupted me numerous times while I tried to answer his inquiry ,but told me to "wear a sanitary pad, wet my pants and come to the hospital another day". He interrupted me so many times I couldn't believe it was I apologizing to him rather than vice versa. He was so cruel and berated me for being in pain, admonishing me to "deal with it " that I tried, unsuccessfully, to assuage his vial temper, before finally giving up. No one should ever endure such cruelty from a doctor, nurse or anyone for that matter. I've had 20 major surgeries in my adult life, but his cruelty surpassed any I've ever experienced in my life. I would never have tried to share my info & request help were I not in excruciating pain, in my 3rd week post op, after trying multiple times to reach my physician for help, with nary a response. I've had the honor and distinction of being a college professor for years, but have never been treated with such cruelty and disrespect in my life. Whomever this so called provider was could benefit tremendously from developing better, professional communication skills and at least a modicum of respect towards his patients. I've never been interrupted or talked to in such a deplorable manner, in my life and hope I never endure anything similar again. It's difficult enough being extremely ill and in pain, but to have a so called professional degrade and berate a patient as he did is unacceptable! I'll never forget his deplorable behavior and hope to never experience such unkindness and lack of professionalism again. He was unequivocally the nastiest, most disrespectful person I've ever experienced. I don't think he was having a bad day, but rather exhibited some of the most hostile, unkind, impatient and unprofessional behavior I've ever experienced from a supposedly medical "professional" or anyone for that matter. This ranks as the most despicable medical experience in my life and I hope no one experiences this kind of behavior from anyone from Premier or the hospital ever. read more

I was referred to go to this place today For my upcoming surgery This place is truly amazing ! The doctor there took a lot of time For me & explained everything to Me about my surgery He was very thorough ! I would recommend this faculty & Place ! The floors are spotless clean ! The elevators a beautiful as well !! I was very impressed by my doctor !! This clearly would not be other places They would too busy for you !! The staff is lovely too & treat you with Respect ! Can't say enough about this place ! I was truly blown away today by My experience ! Even the building is very impressive ! It's In a lovely location ! I have also tried to contact Urology to see if I can just come in with a urine sample if I think I have an infection. I did see Dr. Kohler and told him that I am worried about urinary infections since I am prone to them. I have called three times to see if I can do this. What is the sense of building a big beautiful building when the service does not reflect what you can actually expect? I think this is turning into a clinic atmosphere. I will try calling the lab on Monday to see if I get a response. I might as well go to an urgent care clinic If I think I have a urinary infection. Many of us need reassurance, and I am learning that our medical offices up here either don't have enough staff or nobody cares. I don't get the feeling that the group cares to keep their patients. One should not have to go to Westchester or NYC when you don't have the transportation or are older. I hope to hear from a staff member about my concerns. read more

Have been trying to get a bloodwork script for my PSA follow up exams. The scheduler, Juliette is never there, does not answer her phone and there is no other number to reach anybody. I need the test but since Premiere Urology can't be bothered to answer phone calls from their patients, will be forces to contact the higherups there...if I can find a phone number. read more

Very very poor follow up, you call, you use the patient portal, you go there, and the doctor does not call you back, you are on a medicine that needs to be monitored to the right amount per month, they need some kind of management to make all staff accountable, before a patient has a serious medical concern, for not responding read more

Terrific urologist who monitored me post radiation for prostate cancer which was completed four years ago with PSA steady and not detectible. However, the customer service is dreadful. I really don't know where to begin. If you like being placed on hold forever and requesting call backs which never come then this is the place for you. I seriously doubt that I need to be be monitored anymore particularly because of my advanced age and general good health and I am going to request my internist for the name of another urologist preferable one that who works in an office where they actually answer the phone and set you up. They just don't seem to care about the general welfare of their patience and torture them when they try to make an appointment. read more

Horrible customer service! After surgery they gave us a number to call if we needed anything, only to get an answering machine to which no one monitors. Left voicemails and 3 days later still no response. Trying to make an appointment.... there are 54 callers ahead of me. Never using Premier Urology ever again. read more

Donna Castello is not a good GYN for menopause care. She has abrasive doctor/patient communication skills, to the point they are combative. She does not like when patient ask questions of her, and out right lies about medications and treatments. I found her name on the Menopause society list of providers, as the provider i was seeing moved practices and the the NP i was switched too had zero HRT experience. Dr. Castello's staff showed me to a conference room for my consultation appointment that I made seeking menopause/HRT treatment. She peeked into the door of the conference room and without closing it completely, started to speak very rudely to her staff about scheduling appointments for menopause patients. She was implying that I was too young to be post menopausal and her staff had not properly vetted me. I am post menopausal, by 3 year by the time I saw Dr. Castello. She did not believe me when she finally entered the room. She was combative and rude when I was telling her my history with multiple providers and the lack of knowledge and treatment options I was given. When I told her I had finally found a provider to prescribe HRT, but they had moved practices and that was why I was there, to establish care, she dismissed my history. I asked her about going on testosterone, and she said the only testosterone she could prescribe was the compounded variety. When questioned about this, because compounded medication has a myriad of issues and is not covered by insurance, to see if she could prescribe a conventional testosterone- she said no pharmacy would fill it. Period. She would not call in a testosterone prescription to a conventional pharmacy (CVS etc). Fast forward a few months and I start bleeding. I have an appointment with her, and she performs a biopsy. For the procedure she was dismissive about my level of uncomfortableness and was not at all comforting or reassuring or even kind. She also gave no advice as for what to do to stop the bleeding, simply saying it was a side effect of the HRT. I have since found another provider who easily wrote a script for testosterone gel that CVS filled and my insurance covered. My new provider also changed my HRT to stop any bleeding, and said it was the very first thing that one should do if they have breakthrough bleeding post menopause. read more

I have been going to Dr. Kocher for the past couple of months and received an implant. I am so very happy with my implant which has succeeded expectations. Dr. Kocher and his entire staff are the kindest most professional doctors I have ever seen. I get very nervous when seeing a new doctor, but he was patient, he listened and he solved my personal problems. I would highly recommend Dr. Kocher and the entire staff!!! read more

Great doctors. Wonderful and caring staff. They have this beautiful building recently built with what seems like everything they need. Unfortunately due to their billing department I will be finding a new medical provider. Starting last year I have had one issue after another with incorrect billing. Medical staff tell me follow ups are not applicable for copay's, and billing telling me they are. I make it right with billing only to be told months later I still owe money from a prior visit. I pay each copay at every visit so I don't get letters in the mail asking for money. Sometimes I feel like I speak to billing more then my own doctor. read more

Stay away from Doctor Goldfisher and his scheduler Lisa. They do not care about their patients. I am a caregiver for a disabled Veteran with Parkinson's disease. He was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. Dr. Goldfisher walked into the room where the Veteran was sitting, and told him he had bad news, you have cancer and then walked out. The Veteran had to chase after the Doctor for more information. At this point the Doctor LAUGHED and said yes we can treat you. Literally, a 3 minute conversation with someone who was told he had cancer. To make matters worse, the Veteran was scheduled for a procedure necessary for Radiation Treatment to begin on 2/4. That week there was a huge snow storm on the East Coast. The Veteran could not make a COVID test on 2/2 or 2/3 due to the state of emergency declared by the governor in New York State. When I called to reschedule the procedure, Lisa, his scheduler told me he would have to wait one month, delaying the radiation treatment by a minimum of six weeks. Lisa also stated that this was why appointments could not be missed. When I mentioned the snow storm and the fact that she was dealing with a disabled Veteran with Parkinson, it did not matter to her. She stated, the doctor only does this procedure the first Friday of the month. I asked if other doctors were available and she said no, Dr. Goldfisher wanted to do the procedure. Luckily, my daughter knew someone in the office who had the office manager call me. Suddenly, Dr. Goldfisher was able to do the procedure on 2/17, more than two weeks earlier. If you want a doctor who cares about his patients, do not schedule any appointments with this doctor. A letter to the Office of Professional Medical Conduct is also being sent to the NYS Department of Health and the Patient Advocacy department at the VA Health Care System to warn other people about the treatment received by this doctor. read more
