Very very knowledgeable staff and bought a camera that I love! I also traded in my camera at a fair value. Very reputable!

. I've brought in cameras of all kinds that I had a range of knowledge about, but the staff there and especially Phil always seem to know at least one more thing about it

The store was crowded so I get that you may not be helped right away which was fine. It was after our session ended that we were completely ignored. We sat and sat waiting for help. There was a family that finished after us that received instructions on how to look through the photos, etc. When we were finally waited on the person rushed through the instructions and never returned. I noticed that the other two families had someone actually sitting with them going through the instructions, packets, enhancements, etc. We didn't receive any options. If I had not asked is there a way to purchase items online for later viewing we would not have known. Also even with the option purchased upon arriving home we found out we didn't receive the proper information to access the online photos. We've called and can never get anyone of the phone. Although I love the photos we were able to view while in store. The overall experience was not good and I would not return.

Since I was disappointed with them, I decided to try a more specialized photography store. But now, I admit that Sam's was far better than this place. When I got my picture it was not nothing but my face. I wanted to have my shoulders in the picture. I tried one more. But this time, they even didn't give a chair to me to sit on. They just have a camera and they take the picture in just a second without any preparation or setting. According to the way these guys take picture, every one can do photography. If you have a camera, do it yourself at your own home. The result will be definitely better than taking picture here.

I have been a customer here twice--one in December 2024 and once in January 2026. Each time, I scheduled an appointment through JCPenney's website. Note that this studio is located near section 29 of the parking lot, a blue awning, and the JCPenney salon. You must enter through the lower level of JCPenney and take either an elevator or stairs to the top level. On the days of my photos, my appointments began on time. I got to choose one to two backgrounds. Photographers spoke courteously with me and gave me instructions on how to sit and stand and to use props. The first session lasted only several minutes, and the second session lasted a bit longer. Then the photographer and I looked through the photos to select my favorites and to pay. Advice: Look on their website for coupons. For my first session, I used an online coupon for free session fees and $80 off a digital album, so the total cost was only $89.99 plus sales tax. For my second session, I used an online coupon for $90 off a digital album, so the total cost was only $104.98 plus sales tax. Hours later, Shutterfly emailed me links to my 29 and 56, respectively, photos. I downloaded them to my computer. The photos turned out pretty well.

Biggest complaint was the 40 minute wait to be seen even with an appointment and arriving ten minutes early (maybe to be expected around holiday time). It was pretty much chaos, not enough seating and people and families everywhere but overall fine. The location is a bit difficult to find as well, which gave us a slow start. The photo experience was what maintained the stars here. The staff was professional and even called us back in when they noticed there were closed eyes in a couple of shots. We only got about 15 frames, which I think could be associated with the fact that we used a "Groupon" session. Ultimately though, we got a great finished product (a set of Christmas cards) for a great price and with a set of photos that we loved.

Having Katie as our photographer contributed so much to our wedding: stunning, romantic and personalized wedding and engagement pictures, keepsakes that we will treasure for life, thoughtful and considerate vendor recommendations, and calm, friendly support throughout the wedding planning process. We are so thankful for the amazing pictures that perfectly captured our day and also for the time that Katie spent to make us both feel comfortable leading up to the wedding. She made the entire wedding process smooth and easy when it came to the photography component. Not only is Katie extremely kind but she also makes her subjects feel very comfortable while they are being photographed. We loved the way that she would tell us to "just keep making out and act cute with each other." She has an amazing way of putting you at ease when you are in front of the camera. We were married on May 19th and Katie knew how much that I did not want it to rain. Even though we had two little surprise rain showers, she made me feel so much better about the whole situation by telling me that "it's going to blow over, don't worry." And she was right! Also, not surprisingly, the rain shots that we did get were ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING and some of my favorite pictures honestly. She has an amazing way of turning what I thought would be a bad situation into a good one. So many of our family members and friends at the wedding commented on how easy going yet hardworking Katie is and we could not agree more. Katie is extremely friendly yet professional. My husband and I both felt that she really took the time to get to know us as people and the style that we wanted to have for our wedding. Katie even takes the time to follow your Pinterest account if you have one to get a sense of the type of style, poses, and lighting that you want your photos to have. Katie is also extremely organized by making a day-of-timeline with all of the important shots that you want at the wedding so you don't have to stress about it. I felt completely comfortable the day of the wedding because I knew that she would capture all of the details and important moments that I wanted. To top it all off, Katie sent in the mail a personalized locket with some of our wedding photos, a keepsake that I will treasure forever. She is such an amazing person and truly an artist behind the camera. You cannot go wrong with hiring her and I look forward to working with her for future life events!

Highly recommended for studio work of any kind. His shots are well-composed and perfectly lit from every angle. His retouching is like expertly applied makeup - a ton of work and worlds of improvement and you hardly know it's there. Practical stuff was all great. Turnaround time from the shoot was brief, just a couple of business days, faster than promised. No need to send them back for round two or any reworks, he nailed it on the first go. The studio itself was exactly what you want in a working studio floor - comfortable, packed to the gills with all the gear you might need, and messy like the space of a creative person. The space put me at ease and made getting the shots we needed that much more efficient. Communication throughout the whole thing was perfect and quick. For simple portraits and headshots in one wardrobe I was in and out in an easy half hour after starting right on time. In the end I paid for two shots and he sent me multiple cuts of five shots. For what I paid and the quality of work, I got a great bargain. I expect to use these shots for years to come.

Unlike phone pictures, they have a great background, are not blurry, and the pictures capture the entire kittens' bodies.
