I got several quotes and Olson was the lowest price so I gave him the job. It was simple, and he did it right. This year I finished a major home renovation and needed retaining walls, and more extensive work. I called Mike again, and he suggested that we do the job on a time and materials basis so that I could see what he was doing and make changes as I saw the project develop. He did great work. He had some good suggestions. He installed a beautiful retaining wall made of large boulders. The job turned out great, and the cost was extremely reasonable. Mike Olson is an old school contractor.....He doesn't come in with glitzy plans. If you need that you might need someone else. But if you have a decent idea of what you want, he can get it done at a fair cost. I'll hire him for my next project.

I emailed several times with questions on future projects and even requested quotes and none of my emails were answered. I left voicemails and none of my calls were returned. Then I called again and spoke to a lady who told me if I did not sign up for weekly services basically they could not do anything for me any more. Thought this was kind of bad to give a customer an ultimatum when they want to give you business. Not a good way to do business in my eyes. UPDATE 6/27/2019. I received the following email below from the owner George stating the following: "Ok Joe, I'm the owner George and I quoted you $75.00 - $85.00 . You were told that we would have to physically see your property in order to give you an accurate quote. Once we were on your property I notified you it would be $85.00 . You have taken the proper actions ? What the fuck are you talking about ? We did you a favor by squeezing in your project and getting your work done (ON THE SPOT BY THE WAY !!!!! ) and now your somehow pissed about your memory loss ? You gotta be fucking kidding me ! You better not pull any social media shit or I' punch a fucking hole through your head ! PAY YOUR BILL YOU DEADBEAT BASTARD!" I want to explain a few things here... I received a bill from Dawn at 5:33 PM on June 26th 2019. I emailed Dawn telling her that I was told the price of my service would be $80 not $85 what the bill was showing and that I would not bicker over $5 but would write a review about the company. I sent that email at 9:38 PM the same day and told her to take the payment for services rendered.. So within 5 hours of receiving my bill I told them to bill me. Coincidentally they kept my credit card on file because they told me they would bill me after each service for my convenience. I told them that would be fine and I am ok with that. They never ran the card they have on file.
