Seems like everything that can go wrong finds me. After having the brakes go out on my truck & have the cost of that repair earlier in the week, I was looking forward to the 4th of July holiday weekend with my kids & grandkids. Hooked up the big 5th wheel rig and headed out from Shakopee. I made it 9 miles when I heard something was very wrong. I found my way off the highway onto a backroad in Eden Prairie. I parked, checked the rig and found it was the truck's serpentine belt fraying off. I had no one to call. Feeling defeated I sat in the truck with my dog and cried. I sat there for about 20 minutes. People, trucks and cars passed by when a courier type van was passing by stopped and asked if I was ok or needed help. Told him my situation and he said that his business is on the other side of this block if you want to walk over and let's see what we can do. I walked over and he was in his office. It was then I realized this was not an employee. It was the owner himself. He ordered the part. He had his mechanic; Viktor install the new belt and make sure I was on my way. It's the things people do when no one's watching that tell you the content of their character. And even better, when they have zero to gain but have the compassion to help others shows the content of their heart. I will forever be grateful to Gus & Viktor. These guys are the real deal and are simply amazing. I pray they are blessed abundantly in all they do. THANK YOU GUS!!!!

Something about the Minneapolis drivers? I'm not sure, but I felt strongly enough about it to write a review. --The Minneapolis to Chicago bus has left EARLY all 3 times I have taken it. --The Minneapolis to Chicago (& Chicago to Minneapolis) drivers have been the rudest of all the Megabus drivers I have encountered. I'm not sure why... --I have been personally offended by these drivers on several occasions. --The wifi usually doesn't work on these buses, and the outlets are hit or miss. --My last two trips out of Minneapolis have both been VERY cold. The driver tends to listen to the person who yells the loudest about the temperature upstairs, even if it is a very large man wearing a heavy coat in the middle of summer...hmmmm. Most other people on the upper level were complaining of the chilled air but weren't aggressive enough to make the change happen. However, you really can't be a 20 dollar ticket (or less, if you buy far in advance). I'm more likely to fly rather than bus it after my recent experience, but it's hard to resist spending that little money!

The new station is nice, however they did not construct it in the most efficient way for parking to bus. There are 5 doors from the parking ramp to the bus entrance, so certainly room for opportunity there. There is a light rail stop here that is coming for 2027 so I am eager to see how that performs. I am hoping to see the service return to pre covid as right now there is a bus arriving about every 15 mins during the AM time and 10 years ago there was constant busses before which were amazing. It is nice to be able to just unwind on the bus and read or listen to podcasts or just sit and not have to worry about anything. There are some bus drivers who do need some more training as it is hit or miss on if you got a driver that is slamming on the breaks or one that is a good bus driver.
