Dr Kollar, her PA & her staff have been amazing!!!! And I've had some terrible OBGYNs in my past to compare her to. She has been phenomenal with helping me through perimenopause and menopause. She actually takes the time to go over test results in detail, doesn't rush me and answers all my questions. Something no other OB has ever done. She is very knowledgeable and friendly, the office is clean and I like the staff. I've read some of the terrible reviews on here and that has not been my experience at all here. Magen and her staff at Premiere Women's Health are just amazing. I was very nervous about my upcoming appointment and when I arrived, I was greeted at the front desk in a very kind manner. The medical assistant was very friendly and put me at ease right away. Magen came in with a big smile and welcomed me in such a kind manner, she was gentle and understanding and very easy to talk to. Dr. Kollar has been fine, not particularly better or worse than any other OB/GYN I have had in my 60 some-odd years, with three children, an ovarian cyst, and a partial hysterectomy. Though I am usually only given appointments with the PA, for some reason. However, the office is one of the most difficult I have ever had to work with, especially for a doctor's office. The policies are not very patient-friendly. The staff is very snippy, belligerent, degrading, rude, and extremely defensive. I guess the defensiveness comes from people being dissatisfied all of the time. Now, they want to charge me to use a credit or even a debit card. Isn't a debit card supposed to be same as cash?? I already have to pay the bank fees to keep an account, so why should I pay the doctor's bank fees too? I thought people got away from checks because they were less secure than cards. I guess I am going back to checks if I decide to return. I am disappointed that they have made it so complicated. I am contemplating a change for sure. The attitude in the office ruins the whole experience, and seeing a GYN is already not a relaxing day! I can't recommend Dr. Kollar because the combination is just not worth it to me. read more

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Kollar and her staff. I am so very happy that I found her practice when I first got pregnant. I had the most amazing pregnancy and birth experience from start to finish. You can just tell that Dr. Kollar, Magen, and the entire team genuinely care about you and your baby. Worst office staff ever! rude and incompetent.. i was told to call my insurance to see I was in network! The didnt even know my benefits... Ive worked in a medical office for 10 years and never once made it the patients job to find all that out... I was told to call back with that info to proceed with making an appt....what?! I thought I was being punked! But Ashton Kutcher never popped out! you would think the office manager is supposed to be nicer and more accomidating... I have been going to premier women's health since 2013 and would never go to anywhere else for obgyn care. From the staff to Magen and Dr Kollar, the care and customer service is excellent. Dr Kollar and Magen are very knowledgeable and experienced in varied conditions and chronic illnesses, a major factor in why I still see them 9 years later. Wow! Reading these review is a little discouraging. However, I've been going to PWH for around 5 years now and my experience has always been nothing short of amazing! Of course it's going to be packed some days more than others but I know they try their best to move patients in and out without them feeling rushed! Came to Dr. Kollar as her reviews were fairly decent. I thought it was strange first off when Dr. told me that she wanted me to have a 6-7lb baby to make delivery easy...both of my daughters were 8lb 6oz at birth, that struck me as odd. Dr. Kollar made it clear that this was "her baby" and if ANYTHING (drainage, pain, blood, accidents) were to take place to maker her my first call "just call the number and it will go to 24hr dispatch" about a week/ten days after I left her office I got a bacterial infection and my doctor before prescribing asked me to check with OB to see which script she preferred me to take. I called dispatch, they assured me someone would call me right back. 30+ min later dispatch called back asking if anyone had reached out to me, I said no. ~30m later a woman called and I explained to her I had bacterial and needed to know if the Dr. preferred me to take Metro or Clindamycin she said she would call me right back. I then got a call from a different woman, I believe Dr.'s nurse telling me that Dr. Kollar said she tested me for a bacterial when I was in and I didn't have it. I explained 10 days previous I didn't have the bacterial that I had just gotten in 2 days prior and I was with a Dr. wanting to prescribe all I needed to know was which medication. She tells me "that wasn't included with what they told me, let me talk to Dr." comes back again and tells me I don't have a bacterial that I was tested for it already.....I DIDN'T HAVE IT 10 DAYS AGO! She tries to tell me sometimes PH is just off during pregnancy and I need to wait until Monday to come in and get tested....(wait what happened to this is our baby, you want me to wait 3 days with this so you can tell me which med is safe for the baby because you don't trust me or my doctor to determine I have a bacterial?) I explain to her I have had multiple bacterials, I'm very sensitive, I am not comfortable waiting and she blurts out "Dr says neither medications are safe for your baby you'll have to wait until Monday" I had already been calling around for another OB just to see how they felt about what I had been advised about baby weight and the baby aspirin Dr. had asked me to take daily and all OB required my medical records to even determine if I could come in for a consult but I wasn't certain I wanted to leave Dr. Kollar at that time as my Dr recommended staying with her and that staff was always going to be a problem. I ask the nurse how I can get my medical records sent she inquires "are you thinking of switching medical care" I stated I was she said you'll have to wait until Monday. I called Monday they stated I would have to come in and sign a form for release and that it couldn't be emailed. I go in Tuesday to sign the release they explain they'll send the records off, this was the 1st. I asked if I was still ok to come in for my appt because my husband and I had not made the decision to leave Kollar yet and the lady at the desk tells me Dr. Kollar took me off of the schedule as of yesterday....I hadn't even made a decision yet.....the next day I get a letter in the mail stating that she was no longer my doctor telling me how important my medical care was and included a release form for records. I called the new potential OB yesterday -a week after requesting records transfer- I was told nothing was sent. I called Kollar's office ans spoke with Miranda who said she wasn't sure why they weren't sent yet that they are normally sent immediately ( I was supposed to have another appointment today with Kollar and am considered a high risk pregnancy ) Miranda said she would send them yesterday. I call the new OB again today they tell me they still haven't received my records and can't set me up with an appt until they do. I call Kollar's office Miranda answers I explain to her the same situation and offer to come and pick up my records to take them in, she asks me to hold...comes back and tells me they'll try to have them sent by Friday...I reply you told me yesterday you were sending them yesterday she states we've been swamped...I ask her if my prenatal care is a priority for her and she tells me she's busy with patients in the office...I tell her I'm supposed to be in the office but yall took me off of the roster. She tells me again she'll try to have them sent by Friday. I ask for the OM name -Shelly and leave a message with her I guess we'll see if she calls back. Completely disappointed. read more

Dr. Velez is nice, but I feel she is disconnected from her patients.. Well me and my mother anyway. Whether she intends to or not she can come across very generic with her answers and solutions to situations that are extremely delicate and scary. I felt she didn't share all possible solutions with me concerning my issue, just her ideology. That's something I dislike in a doctor. My mother had a similar experience. Awful experience with the office staff! They try to bill you for unnecessary charges. I cancelled an appointment due to unexpected arrival of my menstrual cycle. I was scheduled for a pap smear. I have a voicemail stating that my appointment was cancelled and all I needed to do was to reschedule. Two weeks later I received a billing statement in the mail for $50 as a no show fee. First of all, I cancelled my appointment. So how is that considered a no show? The main office woman (who was extremely confrontational and combative) said because I cancelled in the same day that is considered a no show. Well what I don't understand is why would consider that as a no show. The procedure I was scheduled for couldn't have been performed due to the fact I was on my menstrual cycle. The woman kept repeating herself saying that it is and I would still be charged. Like I stated above, she was completely rude unprofessional and implying that I was lying about starting my cycle. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more
