We have lived here for 5 years and this was the first time we have ever been there as we don't go out for many movies. It was a great experience as it was easy to buy tickets on-line and check in once we got there. The theater was very clean and they have plenty of snacks and drink to offer at a theater price point, but still how can you pass up popcorn with a good movie. Sound and projection of the movie was great. This will be our go to the next time something comes out we want to see in the theater! 5 stars for the staff also! Very friendly and helpful!!! This is our new favorite movie theater. We have seen a few movies here so far and every experience has been wonderful. The theatre is always very presentable and clean. You cannot reserve a seat, it's first come first serve. However I will say this theatre is never too busy and we have always found a great seat. You can buy your tickets in advance online or in person at concessions. They also have a rewards program with all purchases. Ticket prices are pretty standard but they do have really great specials, such as $5 tickets on Tuesday's. The concessions are similar to any other theatre. One thing that makes this theatre stand out is the nice seasoning station including nacho cheese, white cheddar and kettle corn. Comfort wise the theatres are very classically decorated with velvet walls. I feel it models a more old fashion look which is charming. The seats do not recline but they are comfortable. Apparently in the future they are having recliner chairs installed. That's very exciting. Overall we really like this theater and despite living in Cocoa and having a little drive, we really enjoy coming here. Can't wait for our next family movie. read more

I was in town vacationing and decided on going to to the movies, this location was close by the hotel. Luckily, for us it was a Tuesday and I paid $17 for three tickets. The atmosphere of the theaters from the 1990s, (Omg, I love so much.) Kind of having a bummer, due to my recent food allergies, got to stay away from popcorn. We walked inside the theater, you assigned yourself to available seating. The theater itself, seats over 100 if the movie was packed. Parking was FREE!! This is as local as local can get for a theater. And it feels much better to be sporting this theater than any of the big chains! With a location right next to an ice cream store, an Italian restaurant, and of course, Hemingway's, their prices are very fair here. You're still gonna be paying more than normal because it is a movie theater, of course, but they offer a full coffee bar, as well as some delicious food. Not restaurant but more like chicken tenders and fries for a pretty approachable price. We've never had an issue with buying our tickets, ahead of time, or buying them there. They do not conduct seat reservations, but instead, you buy a ticket and go find a seat yourself once inside the theater. It's never too busy where it's inconvenient even when coming at prime time unless you're coming for a major event. They also can host events here on the second floor. read more

However, I've been to this theater four times now and out of the three there's usually been SOME technical issues. For Mortal Kombat II, the lights would just brighten up in the middle of the film, for The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act, they forgot to screen the film and were late by like 15 minutes. The recent case, The Backrooms, they didn't dim the lights until 30 minutes into the film. Only my time watching Mandalorian and Grogu was when there were no technical issues. It's a nice small theater and the employees are hard at work, but they just REALLY got to work out their technical problems. read more

I have been here a few times, always a nice experience. This theater has the old school classical look that l absolutely love. Today l saw Fly me to the moon. Great movie l highly recommend it. The movie ptemiered July 12th. Its very clean with comfortable seating. I believe it is family owned and has been around for a while. The location has a lot of trees with Spanish moss hanging all over them, which l love a nd plenty of shade is provided. There are a few restaurants, ice cream shop, a beautiful venue party space, very nice outdoor seating available. Excellent choice for a date night. Definitely a great place for family time, a gils night out, or me time. Not a venue to sleep on. read more

Reasonably priced theatre located in a complex with a few local restaurants. My experience is based on a Friday night with Spider-Man opening - we saw a different movie. Tickets were reasonably priced, but the theatre was packed. I felt a little bad for the staff - Mgr overseeing kids who were trying to handle the young Spider-Man crowd. I'm glad we were able to buy our tickets online. I would have had no idea where to go if we didn't. The concession line was a bit confusing too. I found a short line which said concessions only, but there was a longer line that was also selling concessions. The bathrooms are small, but at least no line! The theatre we saw a movie in was messy! The cup holders had dirty napkins in them and the floor and seats had popcorn everywhere. We were in a smaller theatre, but the walls are thin. I think we heard Spider-Man sounds from the next theatre over. A little distracting when you are trying to watch a different movie. Overall, not the best experience. There doesn't seem to be many options available though so just set your expectations on the lower end if you come here. read more

The Oaks theater is a great place, my wife and I go to the movies once a week on average. The Oaks was our first choice when we moved to the area. The theater is spotless and they have the best buttered popcorn we have ever had. The staff is very friendly and they have all the current movies, also they have a cool feature called Flash Back Cinema. They play older classic movies two days a week. Nothing like seeing a movie on the big screen. One of our favorite's is Goodfellas, although we have seen the movie several times on TV seeing it on the big screen made for a great movie experience. This movie is privately owned, we also try to support local business. Going to the movies well go to the Oaks you will not be disappointed. read more

I went to see Aquaman with family while visiting for the holidays and was impressed by this beautiful old fashion independent theater. I am unaware of the history of this theater (had it been an AMC at one point and at some point lost the franchise? When was it built?) Honestly though, it was just so refreshing to be in a sweet, beautiful older theater with old school pricing (just $6.95 for a movie!) to match! The outside of the theater is elaborate and beautiful, as are the individual theaters. The concession is also the ticket line which I could see getting a bit crazy, but you can buy online and avoid it if you wanted. (I do think it's quite a genius move though!) Bathrooms were clean and beautiful for a movie theater as well. Going to Aquaman I expected a standard Regal or AMC experience, and was truly impressed to find this true gem of a theater. If I lived in the area I would definitely see all my movies here, especially since they replay classics there every couple of a weeks! I highly recommend this theater- you will not be disappointed! read more

Went to see Avatar The Way of The Water. This is a very nice theater. The screen was enormous. Sound system was excellent. The only bad thing is if you have your tickets there is a separate line with popcorn and such problem is until you get into that line. A great movie theater, not part of a chain but family owned. We always support locally owned businesses. Playing all the current movies, a good selection of showing times always available. The staff at the concession stand is so friendly, each week when we go to the movies it is like seeing old friends. What a great theater with good stadium seating and a good sound system. No theater could reach great status without fresh popcorn. They make fresh popcorn that is wonderful. The butter popcorn is the best and it is not overly salted. There are many movie theaters in our area, but this is the only one we frequent. Clean, good seating, good sound system always a good selection of movies and most importantly a good smiling staff. read more

Great little theater under the oaks in Melbourne. Comfy seats, clean theater. You purchase your tickets at the concessions counter so it's one stop shopping if you decide to get snacks there. They have the usual bagged candies, buckets of popcorn and hot snacks like mozzarella sticks and nachos. Nothing fancy. They do have beer and wine if that's your jam. Next door is a Ben and Jerry's Scoop Shop and further down in the shopping center is Hemingway's restaurant. In other words, this theater is perfect for dates. read more

Around the Melbourne, Florida area, there are four major cinemas the people will attend to watch the latest movies at the box office. The oldest one that has continuously remained open is the Premier Theaters. Originally known as the Cobb Oaks Theater in which it was one of three Cobb Theaters within the area, with the others being Roxy and Palm Bay 10, it has survived the test of time. Ergo, for old patrons like me, there is a bit of nostalgia yet for newer patrons, it is able to keep up with the fandango of new technology. For starters, Premier Theaters is located in a shopping plaza on Hibiscus Boulevard, just north of Melbourne Square Mall. It is the primary business in it as it features an underpass. Upon entering, you'll see the regular lines to the left which lead to the concession stand and the self-checkout on the right. Take note the concessions have upgraged to include smoothies, iced coffees, and ice cream dots. However, the price still remains high. There are 10 threaters total with the two in the back dedicated as the grand theaters which may or may not air in 3D. The staff are usually friendly and the theaters are often clean. Of course after a showing in a packed theater, I don't expect the place to be clean automatically. People seem to treat theaters like utter crap. Ultimately, I will give this theater four out of five stars for nostalgic reasons. It surely does not compare to the newer theaters, especially the ones in Hammock Landing and The Avenue Viera, but the price along with everything they do have makes it more than decent. read more

We came here to see the new minions movie on $5 movie Tuesday in the afternoon. We were able to purchase our tickets from a kiosk inside - I did not see any other ticket sales areas, but we did not come in the main entrance as we walked over from Hemingway's after a fabulous lunch! The kiosk struggled but we were able to get our tickets after a few tries. We then went to the concession stand to grab some snacks. We inquired about water options (I.e. bottled, cup of water) and were informed that a bottle of zephyrhills would be $4 (which nobody in their right mind would ever pay) and that a cup of "complimentary" water would also be $4, since the price is based on "inventory" and not the content of the cup... poor kid working the concessions didn't understand why this was funny. After a little back and forth we were finally able to get little Dixie cups of water, just to have something. We also got a kids popcorn meal and were told they were out of the fun size M&Ms that come with the meal and they would not be replacing them with anything else or adjusting the price of the meal. It was almost hilarious interacting with these people... After getting our snacks, we had our tickets ripped and went into the theater, which was very clean and with cozy seats! We had a great experience with both the theater and bathrooms. I would definitely return for another movie on the discount movie day, but I won't plan to buy anything from the concession stand in the future. read more

Go to AMC or just watch online. Its sad to see such a well known business opened in 1986 and has constantly struggle to keep a crowd. After the remodel in the early 2000s this old out dated theatre is still trying to claim as a elegant theatre, but out dated design broken seats and poor management. Expect to pay 15$ a ticket, combos range 12-17$ with butter machine being broken and they currently being out of stock on candy. I didn't have a problem as I was with my family simply stated what can be substituted was told nothing. Female manager looked right at us saying sorry we are a private business. LET ME TELL YOU ITS 2022. FREE MOVIES- GOOGLE CHROME,POP UP BLOCKER, fmovies.to THANK ME LATER 30-40$ a person is way to much. OK, we recently watched Downton, so now you know my approximate age lol. The theater is very nice and as previous reviews stated, popcorn was good AND they had unsweetened ice tea, not usually found at theaters. Only issue was not enough ice, warm before I even finished it but these are small things. The reason for not adding the fifth star is the placement of the Downton movie, in theater three. It was right next to Top Gun which we are planning on seeing but some of the sound, low rumbles and vibrations overtook dialogue where we were. Management might consider theater placement next to other movies. Otherwise we enjoyed our first experience at the OAKS Premiere. read more

This place is AMAZING, locally owned and great prices. It is located in a really upscale feel shopping center. It has two different restaurants you can eat at before the movie, we wish we knew before we ate elsewhere. There is also a Ben N Jerrys that you can bring into the movie as well. You walk in and there is just one line for concessions and tickets. Which is a cool idea, so you can get everything in one shot. They offer the typical popcorn, soda and snacks but they also offer Cotton Candy as well. Their popcorn is Orville popcorn, which has an amazing taste. When I typically order the popcorn from chain theathers, it has a fake taste. The place was very very clean and seems well maintain. The chairs seem pretty new and were very comfortable. With the prices and how nice the theather is, we might make a beach day/movie trip a normal thing. But just hope they have more workers at the counter, only two were working when we arrived and it was pretty busy. read more

Post Covid - Great place to see a movie. It is just north of the mall off 192. There is plenty of parking in front and stores to both sides of the entrance. You can purchase your tickets on line (contact less) or at the counter. You can also purchase popcorn, drinks and snacks at the time of ticket purchase. The lobby, theaters and bathrooms were all clean and well maintained. The theaters all have high seat and appear to be stadium seating. Prices seem reasonable for any local movie - ticket - $6.42, popcorn - $7.28 and drink - $5.83. Masks are recommended but optional for movie-goers. The staff was pleasant and professional and the movie ran on time and well. read more
