Went to see Sinners on Tues, 4/24/25. The Theatre was comfortable, clean and easy to move around in. Good variety of Concessions. Good variety of drinks to choose from. Popcorn was hot. On Tuesdays you get a free popcorn if you have a reward card. Nice perk for reward card holder. Bathrooms were nice, stocked and clean. read more

I came to watch the Chosen and at intermission went to get popcorn. The girl at the counter told me they close 30 min after the last movie starts. It is not posted anywhere that I could see. When I made a comment that it was ridiculous she told me that I could leave the theater and go home. No wonder this place is going out of business with employees like her and operating very weak. read more

Went today 7/2023 After we had paid $40 for the movie, popcorn and drinks. The employee that took my money stated that that theater had no AC and that we would be Hot. Note it is 95 outside. I had to ask for my money back. If you own or operate a large theatre such as this you should not have any movies airing if the AC or heat is out. They were out of most drinks. The slushy machine was not working. The popcorn butter dispenser was not working. Poor management and unprofessional employees. read more

I'm trying to understand why it's ok for this theater to be so lackluster about their customer service. I don't know how many times I've brought up that you can only hear the pre-movie shows that are playing there, not see them. Not one time have they even tried to fix it. This is the only theater in Rocky Mount. It is usually kept fairly clean. The service can be hit or miss, but this is usually because the theater employs mostly teenagers. They have a good selection of food and drinks. They always have the newest movies showing. The theater doesn't have all of the newest technology, but it is a good place to see a movie. read more

This was an unexpected GOOD place. I saw clean floors, clean counters by the concession bar, it smelled clean and good all through the place. We saw Avatar and the sound was awesome as was the screen clearness. We are new to Rocky Mount and were surprised at how good our new theatre was! YEA! read more

What appears to be a modern theater is actually an old movie dump masquerading as a modern theater. Its one of these multiplexes where they dont clean in between shows so if you go to a late show like me you are left with sticky floors and popcorn on the seats. It really isn't that cheap either though this is the only theater in town. read more

Compared to other theaters in the surrounding area, Premiere Theaters is definitely sub-par. The screens are almost always grainy and the sound is too quiet to hear. A few of the theaters would definitely benefit from new seats-- the ones now are old and dingy. It's definitely time for remolding on their part. read more

Typical movie theater. I came to see Fences . I bought popcorn and wanted butter in the middle. The butter was self serve. I ask the guy helping me if he could fill the bag half way allow me to put butter on and the he top off with the popcorn. He said he could not do that, but offered me a tray to dump the popcorn into and then I could put the butter on and top off with popcorn myself. It got the job done. But a lot of the popcorn spilled and it's a waste of a cardboard tray. There may be health reasons why he was not permitted to accommodate my request. read more

I'm from Charlotte so I'm used to spectacular theaters....Premiere is nice for its age. My only complaint would be the ac powering on during the film and the floor being sticky (but considering it's a movie theater, that wasn't too surprising). Otherwise, the seats were comfortable, and the movie was great! read more

Bathrooms are gross. The theater houses are always dirty and now have this horrible smell probably because all of the food underneath the seats. Mostly young teenyboppers that work there. Management is rude and unhelpful. The theaters itself has been renovated but they have not taken care of it. Most of the time when watching a movie you can hear the neighboring movie which sucks. I have lived in Rocky Mount most of my life until two years ago and now have been to many other movie theaters and realize how crappy this one is. We drove 54 miles to see a movie today. Fifteen minutes into the movie, the power went out. I realize that is not the fault of the theatre. Power was out for about a half an hour. Management refused to restart the movie. "Come back tomorrow" was their offer. 4 January is the last hurrah for the holliday season for many of us. We have to go back to school and/or back to work. Returning the next day was not an option. Staying for the next showing was not even an offered option. Local management stayed hidden in their office and left the children working there to deal with those of us present. We were finally; after over an hour of waiting, given a pass to come back at our choice of times. I can only hope that they will honour the passes. Out passes were signed by someone dressed as a custodian. Boo, Hiss to the management of this theatre. What a disappointment. Power failures may not be your fault, but everything else was!!! read more

Before this place needed a real lift. And boy did it get one! They still have the arcade area, which I love that they kept. The new carpet is kept good and clean, and so are the bathrooms. The concession area didn't get much done to it, just a new look from the outside. The ticket stand looks a lot better, with stacked stone around it. The whole place seems a lot more organized too. The outside looks so much better, and I can tell that it is already pulling in more traffic. (Despite it already having a lot, since it's the only big theater around) Typical overpriced theater snacks and drinks. Always playing the good new movies, including 3D stuff. read more

Sharp, professional, management and staff. Beautifully remodeled with all the bells and whistles! I love the new UEC Theater in Rocky Mount and highly recommend it. Highly praise a young man named Joe who was of great assistance and kindness regarding a situation with my elderly parent. I am a member of AARP and host regular meetings where we often plan outings to attend movies together. Of course our children and grandchildren are frequent movie-goers too now that the theater is the new UEC. read more

The owners need to clean the screens. They are filthy and very distracting during the film. Terrible that they take money for exhibiting on dusty/ dirty covered screens. Stay at home and watch Netflix read more

This theater is horrible...I have come here three times and each time the theater gets worse. For one the concession options are limited and expensive for the quality you receive. Second, the area where you fill your drinks and butter the popcorn is untidy, I've been here for a matinee and the floor is full of dropped popcorn and the tables are sticky from soda and candy. Third, the theaters aren't cleaned between shows, I've walked into a theater full of trash on the floors and seats. Lastly, the restrooms are disgusting, I try to avoid going because it's just nasty to walk into a dirty restroom. I think tonight's movie will be my last at this theater, I will just travel to Greenville or Raleigh for a better experience. For the quality of this place, tickets should be at the most $5.00. read more

I visited this theater during the Christmas holiday and brought along 9 of my nieces and nephews for a movie. Although I was shocked the matinee prices were the same for adults and children and more expensive than local theaters in Greensboro, NC where I live, that is not my complaint. After the movie, the kids wanted to play the arcade games and ran over only to find one of the driving games were not working. After asking 3 employees to reimburse me $.50 so that my niece could play another game, they told me the vendors just checked the machines the previous day and they were not responsible and my only option would be to call the game vendor which is probably close and I would have to try back tomorrow. I asked them if their claim was more important than their reputation. I'd spent over $100 on tickets and snacks and the request was simply because the machine was not working. In the end, the rest of the 8 kids were playing their games, so unfortunately, I'd already spent that additional money on games and couldn't get a refund, but I told them all we had to leave because I was appalled at the customer service. I called the vendor and left my name and phone number but after 10 days, have not received a call back. read more
