Close to the Quarter, on the river side. The owners of this lot own several throughout the city. There are several lots very close in this immediate area so make sure you are paying to park in the lot you are in or you will be booted. Reasonable rates usually though they are doing the surge pricing now during peak parking periods, which is manipulative in my opinion. Spaces are clearly defined, the lot is clean and well lit. There are cameras though I am sure those are more for checking plates to make sure payments have been made than for security purposes.

Here comes another parking lot review. I won't bore you with repeating that I'm not really a fan of the "pay ahead" lots they have downtown now, but this isn't a bad one. I have parked here a few times on my way to catch an event at House of Blues, or have dinner in that general area. The cost for 3 hours of parking is $18, which is a little steep, but it's still better than risking your car's integrity by parking on the street. There is always a lot of space in this lot and it's fairly easy to find a spot closer to the street and under the lights, which I like. Pro tip: set an alarm on your phone and get back to your car before your time is up because they won't hesitate to boot/tow you. I see the truck out there just waiting for people to forget to come back.

The lot takes up the whole funny shaped block. There are auto pay stations through out the lot. You enter your tag number, number of hours you want and pay with cash (no change made) or credit card. You get a receipt. In and out is allowed, but space isn't guaranteed. There is a fine for towing or booting. A better description of location is at the corner of Conti and Decatur, Peters makes the southern border.

No signage notifying that this is pay in advance

I paid, I showed proof of payment, I was still booted and charged $130 to remove it. This company is very very dishonest. Don't park here!!!

We arrived and called the number as directed (during business hours) & no one picked up. We called the other number & was just told we need to wait until someone showed up. 20 minutes later, the person working the booth walked up and got upset with us in "not reading the instructions right" before purchasing. We told him how we found the option, offered him to read what we read, & he said "no it's right there, you just didnt read it" and didnt care to explain. I spent time during this exchange and afterwards looking online various ways and there is not one site that says that. Then he told us he had been "running around the last 4 hours" and that we were basically inconveniencing him for showing up on the hours of his work day. "Can I take a break first ? I can't do this right now. I can refund you and look at places you all can park but I promise it's not a spot you want". It was not the lunch hour yet either. We decided to give him a hour to himself to sort out his emotions on his designated day to work which he was amenable to and "I'll be here all day". We stopped by the PMSI management company of the garage (a few doors down) and the front desk was empathetic but did not care for us to escalate it to someone and just said "he is the one who runs things" at the garage. Clearly their level of professionalism was enabling staff to perform at the level that we were experiencing. We came back around 4pm and he wasn't there again. He showed up then stated he only had 1 spot "and it's so narrow no one wants to park there. One of our staff gave it up this morning and it's just hard to get out of it. You're welcome to go take a look but I promise you won't want it". We looked around and there were plenty of available spots per the app and in plain view, beyond this security gate one would go through (after receiving the access card). The spots were all extremely narrow but this guy swore up and down no spots at all were available unless we were going to apply for the apartments (4 winds or the strand) "I have a lot of spots for that though". Clearly this guy had some particular opinions of us already or was feeling some way the day we went in because that was the strangest thing I have ever noticed or experienced. Since he was so adamant on how we could go look ourselves & how much the spot was bad, we decided to save our valuable time and asked for a full refund and found a better, user friendly lot for our vehicles instead. Looks like some people had odd situations in the past yet I recommend going somewhere else that will respect your money and time more with less attitude.

My experience with La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham and Premium Parking…read moreOn July 4th, 2025, I trusted the valet service at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham in New Orleans with my vehicle- Lexus GX during my trip to the city for Essence Fest. While grooving to the amazing vibes of GloRilla, I received a call from Valet Parking informing me that my car had significant windshield and surrounding damage while in their care. When I returned, my vehicle (a) had suffered significant windshield and surrounding damage. I am so disappointed in both La Quinta Inn and Premium Parking for their lack of accountability. Despite recognizing my vehicle was significantly damaged while in their care, both parties have repeatedly refused to take full responsibility for ensuring the damage is fully addressed. I'm sharing this to warn future customers and to encourage accountability. If you plan to use valet here, please be aware.

I filed a police report and reached out to Premium Parking for help -- not only did they refuse to take any responsibility, but they also made it clear they don't monitor the lot, don't offer security, and won't compensate you no matter what gets stolen. There were no visible warnings about the lack of surveillance when I parked, and for $40, I expected basic safety. Had I known this was a high-risk, unmonitored lot, I would've just paid a few extra dollars for valet with the hotel. I'm a student building my business -- this set me back in real time. If you're visiting downtown NOLA, especially for an event or overnight stay, do not risk it with Premium Parking. They advertise convenience but offer zero protection for your property. Be smarter than me and park somewhere safer. Signed, a disappointed -- and now out-of-pocket -- paying customer.
