From an architectural point of view, this is a lovely building, with a unique holey spire (to let…read morethe wind through ?!!). The inside is pretty too, like many of the French Catholic churches. It always has a good turn out for the different masses though so avoid service times if you just want to have a nosey around !

The first time we visited Quimper, we were unable to see inside the cathedral due to a wedding, so…read morethe next time we decided to see the town, we were glad to be able to go inside this lovely cathedral. The stained glass windows are beautiful and even more so on a sunny day. There is so much to see in this lovely place and it took us close to an hour to look at everything. It's a must-see if you are walking around this splendid town!
