I rarely leave reviews, but my recent experience at this barbershop left me feeling completely taken advantage of. What should have been a standard $25 haircut somehow ended up costing me $50--with no clear explanation or breakdown for the extra charge. Prices weren't clearly posted, and I wasn't informed ahead of time that I'd be paying significantly more than expected. I will never give that barber shop any more business again, I went for my usual haircut and the barber was tattoo covered, wearing a hoodie over his head while cutting my hair, very unprofessional. While cutting my hair he was talking to a fat gross looking female employee in gang slang! Lastly he changed $40 for the haircut!!! Must be new owners. The barber shop should offer free "Born to Lose" tattoos coupons. Their license needs to be revoked. read more

If I were to recommend this business solely on customer service l, I'd say "walk away"... I took my 11 year old there last week for the first time and OMG!!! There was nonstop cursing, random people walking in and out, and they were all openly drinking beer. The music was not family friendly and was extremely loud! I was passing through on my way to fly out of Denver after a work trip looking for a quick haircut. Called the presidential barber shop and asked if they had time for a walk in with no notice and they were extremely accommodating. I walked in looking for a quick down and dirty hair cut and by the time I walked out my hat was In the trash. (Not literally but I definitely didn't wear it the rest of the day) There is something to be said about professionals who hold them self's to a high standard regardless of the customers expectations. I could ramble on about the quick stop that turned into a great experience but I'll end by saying if you want a real haircut by some guys who really give a shit about what they do this is where you go. read more

Poor customer service! I called to see how much it costs for a kid's haircut and if you have to make an appointment. I don't know who I spoke with but he wasn't professional. I'm used to people saying "hello, my name is..., thank you for calling...., how may I help you?" But I couldn't tell if this was a place of business or if I just called someone's cell by the way he answered. You do have to make an appointment but they charge $25 for a kid's haircut! To start with, I did not get the full experience so this review is based on everything leading up to an actual cut. These guys may be great at barbering and the shop was certainly modern and clean, but unfortunately I never got to find out about the actual cut. My experience started out by calling for an appointment and someone picking up the phone and answering "hello". Given that my phone registered their number as Virginia, I really had no idea if I had reached a barber shop in Wyoming. So I inquired, "are you in Wyoming?" They answered "yup." I inquired again, "are you a barbershop?" They answered again, "yup." Now I'm aware of silly corporate policies about how to answer phones at certain companies, but it may be a good idea to at least identify yourself as a business. Anyways, I was able to book an appointment, although I was not left with a good feeling. I will add that they have no website. Apparently they have a Facebook page, but I don't have an account. So the only page of information I access is their Yelp. I show up at the listed address early. The place looks like it's some kind of out of business hair salon or product supply company, I couldn't tell. Definitely not a place I wanted to get a cut. As I was walking away disappointed, I checked again doing a google search and a different address came up. Went there and it looked a heck of a lot better, a real barbershop. It may not even be their fault, but the wrong address is definitely listed here on Yelp so if you're trying to go, just confirm that you're headed to the correct address. I poked my head in at the appointment time and they were friendly and asked if they could help me. I answered that I was there for my cut. All the barbers had people in the chair. They conferred with one another and said they could get me in 4 hours past my appointment time. No thanks guys. read more

My son had eye surgery and needed to get his hair cut so I took him. Presidential Barber Shop is his normal spot for getting his hair cut but I was so impressed by the environment, look and feel of the shop I wanted to leave my two cents as well. Even though the barber shops are the men safe havens (LOL) ladies you're welcome to come in and get yourself a cut as well or just relax, chill and enjoy the good sounds that they are rolling with while you wait either on you kid or your man! If you're in town and need a quick cut this is the place to be. I love the modern barber shop look as well! read more

Our family is new to Cheyenne. I have used another barber but wanted to check out Presidential as the other barbershop is a long wait for us. I took my son who is 8 yrs old in today as a walk-in. My review of this shop has nothing to do with the young man who actually cut my sons hair. He was polite, did not engage in others conversations but kept to the service I was paying for of giving my son a really good hair cut. I didn't get his name but he was the youngest barber in the shop today. I give the shop as a whole a 1star and we will not be back. The Shop should have an "R" rating on the door before you enter the shop for the language we had to endure. There were 4 barbers with customers in each chair and then later a few more customers were waiting to have cuts. I was the only female in the shop. Not one person stood up for the fact there was a child and female in the room to ask the workers and one particular customer to watch the filth that came out of their mouths. Shows me that this shop is not a respecter of children or women. If it had not been the fact my son was already getting his hair cut I would have left. Their loud conversations also showed a disrespect to the local law enforcement officers, who are in fact doing the job they were hired to do, enforcing the law for your protection and ours.
