Pridestaff was the first agency that I reached out to and I don't regret it. From the get-go, Yesica was very accommodating and friendly and when she got my skills test scores she appeared sincerely impressed. She then endorsed me to her manager, Veronica, who then let me know every couple of days about jobs that I might be interested in. She even made me feel that the salary that I was asking for was not too much and that I shouldn't sell myself short. I didn't end up choosing a job with them, but after letting them know that I accepted a job elsewhere (because it was nearer to home), they were genuinely happy for me. I did feel bad though because I know they were really trying to find me a suitable job, but I was being a little picky. I'm so thankful that I reached out to Pridestaff. I went in here a few months ago because I'd used PrideStaff in the past at another location and had good luck with them. The staff at this location however was incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. I came in to do my testing and then asked what was the next step. They looked at me like I was stupid and told me that someone would contact me. Two weeks went by and I hadn't heard from them. So, I finally called them. The woman who answered the phone acted like I was bothering her and then proceeded to tell me that the person who dealt with the type of job I was looking for wasn't available and that she would call me. Nobody ever called so I called again about a week later and left this woman a message. Still no response. I ended up finding a job myself from Craigslist. I would never recommend using this employment agency. They were a total waste of time. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Daren and Terri K.

Daren Kneeland, born and raised in Visalia, has built and successfully sold multiple organizations in the medical device space and previously served as CEO of a nationwide organization, where approximately 50% of company revenue was generated through clinical engineering staffing services. This experience provides a strong foundation for understanding complex workforce needs and delivering scalable staffing solutions. Daren has been married to his wife, a Hanford local, Terri Kneeland, for 42 years. Together, they have four sons and are proud grandparents of a growing family. They also share their home with a Rhodesian Ridgeback, a standard poodle, and a cat named Trooper—who proudly runs the household. Outside of work, Daren and Terri enjoy traveling and taking cruises with friends, making time to relax and create new memories together.

He worked one week, never received a debit card from them so he hasn't got paid, he went to work this morning and they sent him home saying select staffing was supposed to call him and let him know they don't need him today, he calls select staffing and they tell him they don't need him for that job anymore! Meanwhile, someone I know actually got offered the same job and showed up and did the work. That was my first true red flag about this company. I had to go in person to get my check for my last job. The lady up front barely acknowledged me standing right in front of her. No smile, eye contact, greeting or professionalism at all. I felt like I had to pull teeth to get basic information from her. She was rude, short and had no business being the face of the company and greeting people walking in. That was it. I will never use this service again. I prefer a company that treats people better. They not only lied to me but treated me like I was less than when it is people walking in the door that is keeping you in business to begin with (keeping YOU employed).

I went over a year without work. I looked everywhere and went to every agency here in town, and no luck. It seamed like every agency always give you the same old speech and run around. "Call once a week to be put on the list, will call you if anything comes up". I had given up hope that any of the agencies would ever actually help me. Till one day I heard of Pride Staff. God answered my prayers. These ladies -Anna, Veronica, and Blanca are the best. First, they welcome you to their business, they Listen to what you have to say, most of all they make you feel Important. Also, they make you feel like family. I 100% percent recommend Pride Staff to anyone and everyone. I was placed with a job within days of applying, and they placed me with an excellent compay where I feel comfortable and important. People have to keep in mind they go based off of the needs of their clients, they cannot offer what there is not available. I was impatient myself, believe me. If you feel the need, you can sign up with multiple temps. I did almost a whole year of temporary job assignments before finally landing this permanent job.
