Primark is cheap, and that's the primary fact which everyone knows about it. It's unarguable, but with news stories lately suggesting sweatshop links with Primark's products, it's not altogether a good thing to everyone. However if we leave that matter and Primark's official pronouncements on it to one side, we can simply note that this is a good place to go for a basic wardrobe if you're broke. Some of their items, in my experience, are less than fantastic quality (but what do you expect for those kind of prices?) Some are better than you might expect e.g. a lot of their women's shoes are absolutely beautiful. I've also found their women's underwear to be reasonably priced for what you get, and it's always worth checking out their sale rail. Not least because items on it can occasionally generate surprising interest on Ebay. read more

Really good, I come in this store nearly 4 times a week. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the store isn't hard to navigate around. The only issue I would say is my mum is on a mobility scooter and finds it hard to get to the counter so I have to pay for her. It would be really helpful if they had a wider counter space read more

A small branch, but well stocked with men's clothes, women's clothes, children's clothes and homeware. In the Ridings Centre next to Waterstones, on the ground floor. Can have long queues, as Primarks always seem to. read more

I used to love shopping in Primark but lately I can never find anything to buy except pyjamas. As with most shops, the boys section is soooo small you'd miss it if you blinked. The older boys clothes arnt that bad but a month ago I went in to buy my 4 year old some trousers and they didnt have 1 pair between the ages of 2 and 6 wots going on???? I do love their pyjamas and is the only reason I keep going back in. Always very busy on a weekend, would go mid week if poss. read more

love this place the staff are extremely helpfull expecially a security guard there named mr derrick who is always willing to help and friendly, due to my disability i sometimes cant get round to all items but he meets us with a friendly grin, pleasent chat, good manners and goes out of his way to ensure items i can't get to are brought to me to look at,if i then aren't interested he puts them back too. prices are reasonable too,the only thing i would say is get more staff on busy days. read more

This Primark located in the Ridings shopping centre in Wakefield is an older branch of the store and therefore is a bit smaller than the custom made branches in Bradford and Leeds. But it is a fair size for the area and covers menswear, womenswear, accessories and shoes, kidswear and homewear. It is great for cheap t-shirts for men from £3, ladies dresses from £8 and shoes from only £2 and homewares form £3. It is great for cheap holiday clothes, office wear, casual wear and throwaway fashions. It is a great shop with friendly staff and it is very popular in the area. Ten out of ten. read more
