The initial service "seemed" very good - we urgently needed a completely new garage door & motor outside of Corpus. The tech came out the same day, just before the holidays. There was some upsell and limited options for the door itself but that was OK given the short notice. However - the door stopped working within one month, the tech came out again & adjusted the sensors without charge but with grumbling. Another contractor had told us the rails were uneven, but when I asked this guy about it he brushed it off and said it was "fine" and "not a problem at all." Within five months the door quit working at all either manually or with the motor. Although it should still be on warranty with Primary, I called a local independent garage door repairman from Bishop to take a look at it. He identified multiple issues with the original install - the rails were 3" below level and putting strain on the door and cable, lower connections on the track were not done at the appropriate height, the wrong lightbulb was used, screws were loose, a part on the top of the motor which helps keep the belt on was not installed at all. Within about 45 minutes he was able to address all those those issues (though we are still missing that part that came with the new motor). I'm glad we addressed these issues before the new door itself failed. PS Owner says they "only changed springs." They put in an new garage door and new motor in addition to springs (over $3000 cost). Yes - the rails and tracks were there before the install. But when you install a new door & springs - you don't check to make sure the brand new door you just installed is properly aligned? And some of the problem was how the door itself was attached to the rails. Then I ask about the alignment of the rails instead of saying yes, that should be adjusted but it will cost more because it wasn't in the original scope of work, the tech just says it's 'fine' as it is? (although I consider, when the scope is to install a new garage door, making sure the rails are aligned IS part of the scope - anyway it took 15 minutes or less to adjust the height of the rails). We had primary garage door Eden, put new springs on our garage door Feb 15,2024. He was friendly, prompt, and appeared knowledgeable. I paid half cash/half check to him. It took weeks for me to get a copy of the paid receipt despite multiple calls and emails. That isn't the big problem. We have had issues with the garage door crashing to the floor(just had 2 new springs). My husband called twice, I called twice. Eden was supposed to come out today. No contact. When you call you get an out of area service call time who gives you the run around and says someone will call. Now the door doesn't open at all. Overpaid for quick service a month ago and no one comes or calls us back. Do not use this company! read more

Had a new door installed and within a year it failed. Technician came and "fixed" it. One week to the day it failed again. Called the first time at 5pm were told they would have a specialist call us, 6 and a half hours (and a few more calls to the company) later still had not received any communication from them. No one even bothered to call to say sorry, we can't help you right now, let's try to schedule something to take care of your needs. Horrible customer service! Finally got tech to come out 2 days later and after seeing the condition of the door, he wanted to call the owner and talk to him about what needed to be done. He had the owner on speaker and told him that the rails were not straight, and he felt that they would fail again. The owner told him that they were fine and to not do anything to them. Needless to say, the poor guy felt a bit frustrated knowing we knew that he was aware the rails needed to be fixed but couldn't because he was told not to. Can you imagine trying to do quality work but being told by your boss to not fix something that you know is wrong. Btw, he had told us the week before when he was sent out that this was his first job working on garage doors and he had only been there a few weeks and was already working on his own. Now, here we are 1 month and 2 weeks from that day and once again we are unable to use our garage door as it has a big split down the middle of the door from being installed improperly. As much as I would like to give this company yet another try to show some integrity, I will cut my losses and move on to someone who takes pride in their work and values their customers. read more
