After spending a significant amount of money and investing a lot of time, I can confirm that the results were visible for one day--the day of the treatment. But of course, when they tell you that the threads stimulate collagen and the skin gradually tightens, it's natural to wait... until you realize it simply hasn't worked. What's most concerning is that the doctor recommended fillers under my eyes. At first, I didn't even feel I had a problem. I didn't even wear makeup. But I thought, well, it could always look better, and since I had an important event coming up, I considered following his advice. The doctor injected the fillers the day before Thanksgiving. That day I had to say I had an allergy because my eyes were so swollen I could barely open them. I will share photos later. He had to dissolve them in a follow-up appointment, but even now, so many months later, my under-eyes are destroyed compared to how they were before--which was fine, normal for my age (47). As I said, this was something I did as a one-off to look good for an important event. Of course, I had to wear sunglasses at the event. The worst part is that the fillers are still there, but not under my eyes--they've shifted much lower. That PDO threads don't work is something most people already know. But be careful with under-eye fillers at this clinic. In my case, it's been a disaster that's cost me a great deal of money, time, and certainly trust. The Botox is fine--but that you can get in many places these days, and for a better price. The other services either don't work or, worse, make you look ten years older.

There were points where he was moaning in pain, apparently he was getting fillers done. I should have gotten up to leave and that point but as i said, want to give the place a chance. I didn't catch the name of the woman providing my facial, i assume she's the owner.She was very sweet, and tried to make small talk. This is the first time I've had a facial with gloves on but like i said i was going with the flow...She cleaned my face and proceeded to use the microdermabrasion machine. I asked about the facial and she wasn't aware that I wanted that, even though the groupon was for microdermabrasion and facial. The facial consisted of a hot towel in lieu of steaming to open my pores, extraction, a moisturizing mask and moisturizer. All the boxes were checked but it was not a legitimate facial. It felt super rushed; from the time i walked in the door to the time i paid was a total of 30minutes. As i said i wanted to give Kalypso a chance. Previous reviews seemed promising but i had a negative experience. I would hope this is not typically the case but I'm not willing to come back.
