At Elite they treat each person like an individual and tailor your treatment to how you are responding and they always ask what is aggravating you on that particular day. Often you may come on with a specific pain like your back and they will recognize that it's actually your hip that is causing your back pain and you leave feeling better. They all work as a team so if you are with Anna one day and the next time Jeff you aren't starting over because their care overlaps and the communication between them has occurred before you even get there. I can't say enough, how impressed I have been with their knowledge base and caring for each patients recovery and success. I noticed the review from Dawn and she can't be more off base and I'm sorry she gave them a low star review because they literally have helped me get my life back after numerous surgeries. It is always a positive, pleasant place to go where everyone knows who you are and acknowledges you immediately. One of the reasons I chose them was they are privately owned so you don't become a number in the corporate machine mentality where they don't really care about your recovery or get to know who you are. You can't go wrong with Elite Sports Medicine and physical therapy. I would like to stop needing them but as long as I do I'm glad I have them as part of my care team.

I've never once had to wait to be seen, even when it's busy. They've even gone out of their way to fit me in at the last minute. PA Jenna Pataluna is knowledgeable, patient, and takes the time to answer my questions. I've never been rushed, lectured, or talked down to. She takes a collaborative approach to her patients, and I feel like an active participant in my own care.

They take X-rays of my hip bc that's what I moved my appointment up for-my hip. He just knows it my back though. Sigh. Here I am, on meds: can't work, can't drive for a month while I wait for this appointment. Here's the timeline readers: End of Feb first appointment, MRI March 2nd. Follow up March 7th. Hang on, here is the fun part...DUDE TELLS ME ITS NOT YOUR BACK, MUST BE YOUR HIP. MY BAD, LETS DO ANOTHER MRI FOR THE HIP. WILL CALL TO SCHEDULE YOU. Guess when that appt was folks? March 18th. Mind you, still not working, not driving on meds. Follow up for the March 24. Did you know they get the results in like an hour? I know now bc I called to get them for my March 21 at a different office. Also, decide if that parking lot is one way. Too small, too round, and too many people dropping off patients. I would absolutely ask yourself how important your time is and don't waste it here. The care level here is similar to most of warrenton: mediocre with a fresh coat of paint.

I came back for a follow up and told them I had a bill for a co-pay sent to my house . They apologized and said that they didn't have the second insurance on their file so I figured it was an innocent mistake.. I gave them the insurance again and they scanned it in a second time. News to me a month later I get another bill saying that I still owe a $50 co-pay. I called them back and they had both insurances on file. However, the billing department in Florida did not have a copy of the second insurance so they forwarded it to them ... or so I was told. Next thing you know I'm getting late payments on file called no less than three times and was assured that it would be taken care of. I continue to get late payments in the mail . So I took off a day of work and physically went down to Ortho Virginia and to show them both of my insurances physically in person and told them for the sixth time that I continue to get bills in the mail . They assured me they would take care of it... I guess they never took care of it. Fast forward to today.... I get a collection agency in the mail for a bill of $50. I went online and paid it and I'm done with these folks. Their billing department will be the demise of this organization.

My father passed away, so now I feel comfortable writing a review on this facility without fear of…read morehim being mistreated. This place might be okay for someone who is more able to care for themselves and can walk around on their own, etc. However, if you or your loved one require true constant care and supervision, I would not recommend this place one bit. My dad was admitted due to him having terminal cancer, and all the other medical issues that come with that. He suffered many strokes, so he had some confusion at times, and over 6-7 months became less and less mobile. The last few months he could not walk on his own more than a foot or two. He was a fall risk almost the whole time of his admittance. From the very beginning I noticed major issues with this place: 1. They were not coordinating his appointments/transportation adequately and he was missing them at times. 2. he needed help to get to the bathroom as he was a fall risk, and he would tell me all the time that he would ring for the nurse to come help and it would take them way too long to get there, which resulted in him just trying to go on his own and then he would inevitably fall. 3. He was a fall risk, and yet they had him at the end of the hall farthest away from the nurses station, and when he would ring for a nurse they were not punctual. 4. One day I came to visit, and I walked into his room to find him on the floor. This was truly traumatic for me, and he had fallen out of his wheelchair. They left him sitting in the chair after his dialysis appointment, instead of bringing him to his bed, he tried to get up to go to bed and fell. This resulted in a hospital appointment because he had a deep gash on his head from the fall. I mentioned that he fell out of the wheelchair to the staff, but I was brushed off. I should have taken a picture as proof, but I was so flustered in the moment that I didn't think to do so, and then I was put out of the room when the nurses came to help him up after I informed them he was on the floor.... God knows for how long because they do not do regular room checks... even for a FALL RISK person. 5. He was moved to a new room at the end of his stay, and when I came to visit, all of his belongings were still in boxes. No one could be bothered to open up his stuff so he had access. Yes it was mostly clothes, but he also had some snacks and enrichment items, that were just in boxes. 6. He passed a week ago, and no one has bothered to reach out to me, my mother received a phone call to let her know, but me - nothing. I am the main POC. Not even a condolence phone call. Don't get me wrong, some of the nurses were okay, and the last two he had in his new room seemed very nice. But overall, this is not the place you want to be when you need more attentive care. They don't care.
