My…read moreelderly mother had Double J install a R/O system, water heater, and water softener in her home. They ordered an R/O system kit with a chrome faucet where there was a brushed nickel faucet already installed, basically the wrong kit to match what she already has on her sink. This faucet was necessary to the R/O system as it has sensors and lights on it that tells you which one of 3 filters needed to be replaced. They left without leaving any owners manual, because this owners manual would have shown there was a specific faucet required for this system. I found the part number, looked it up online, and printed the owners manual, where I discovered the absent faucet. They were going to leave her with an incomplete system. After numerous calls, they finally contacted my mother and had ordered the correct faucet, which was changed when Branigan (?) arrived to pick up the check. He did tell my mother that the faucet cost over $200 and that he was going to have to just "eat the cost". Another issue with Double J was with their employee(s). They had urinated all over the toilet, toilet seat, and surrounding walls/floor. My mother was extremely disappointed when she saw that. She brought up the issue with Branigan(?) and this had been an issue before and had instructed his employees to go to the gas station or ask permission. In all, my mother's experience with Double J has NOT been a good one. Use caution when using Double J Plumbing. Be on site watching the employees and if you are purchasing new items from them to get all of the owners manuals, make sure everything is done correctly, and they leave a clean bathroom if you allow them to use it.

Only after further investigation did I find that this company is known for its crooked dealings. Many people in the community have had issues and they all say the same thing, never again. This year we had an issue with our septic that turned out to be a nightmare and Eberl was so accommodating. What should have been a 2 day job turned into a month or so roller coaster due to issues created by the original plumber and the city. Every day there seemed to be a new issue. From the city pipes being higher that the septic pipes to there being a crack in the city pipe under our driveway. At every step Rick was helpful in letting me know everything that was going on and what they could do to solve the current problem. While all I was seeing was dollar signs he was finding solutions.
