I got a quote from this company through Thumbtack. I was asked a bunch of questions about how many windows and doors and what not and I figured that the best way to get an accurate quote would be to send pictures, so that's what I did. Pics of all four sides of my home. I received and itemized quote for the services and moved forward. Tech comes out and by his count, the cost should be $750. Says I have more windows than I stated for the quote. I counter that I sent pics. I don't know how they charge (turns out, it's per pane (even for double hung out windows) so I sent pics. I asked to see if they could meet me halfway. He said no. That's fair, but I declined the service. The techs were both polite and professional. I assumed I just received and inaccurate quote and it was unfortunate. I left a review on thumbtack basically explaining that their quote was inaccurate and I felt it shouldn't have been - not over the number of windows I have. What followed was absolutely bonkers. I received 7 phone calls within 12 min from the owner - two of which I answered. I was accused of slandering the company, implying their employees intentionally jacked up the cost, blamed for not providing accurate info and ultimately them claiming that pics are nice, but do not provide enough information for a quote. I contracted out for 2 properties to have the windows washed inside and outside including screens. This is my honest experience with Juan and their customer service. 1. I was told after windows were cleaned that tracks were not included: which I was willing to pay extra for and I did. 2. I was told that out of all the technicians client only myself and one other person had complaints 3. After waiting for the technician at my second property I was told that if the work was done I could not complain I also spoke with customer service several times during the appointment today. I was told I must be misinterpreting what was said to me. I paid for the first house and then respectfully canceled the contracted service for my second house. It is unfortunate that a company does not believe their clients on their honest experiences. I did do a walk through with Juan at the first house to verify what the job entailed. I had never had my windows cleaned before and I did not think it was obvious that tracks were not to be included. I do think there needs to be more transparency. AWFUL. Save yourself the aggravation and do not use this company. I never give reviews, but needed to for this experience And maybe save someone the horrible experience I had. First, they did both exterior windows and gutters. They didn't do all of the gutters and charged for removing gutter guards, but never took them off to clean under them. After promising for 2 days to come back out, they never did. I called on day 3 to say if they didn't come back that day, I was withholding my discover payment. Person accused me of threatening them and hung up. I never raised my voice. I called back and was promised, by a different person than the one who hung up on me, that they would come that afternoon. When I called for a quote on window cleaning and gave the man the number of windows I had, he quoted me $250. I stated that I wanted the outside, inside, screens and windowsills cleaned. On the day of service, the man said that I had double windows so now it is $400. Also, it is an extra $5 per screen to clean and an extra fee to clean the windowsills. I called the company to complain, the man said that they can never give a true estimate unless they see the house. I asked why the man quoted me $250 if it was going to be extra for the screens and windowsills. Why didn't he tell me that in the quote? All he kept saying was that we can do that for you if you want, but you have to pay the extra fee. I opted out since $400 to clean just the windows was enough. Finally, when he was done, one of my windows will not open. The track is broken. He tried to fix it but couldn't and said I had old windows. So now I have a broken window that won't open. So disappointed in this company. Your reply is inaccurate. When he quoted the $400, I thought it was for the windows, screens and windowsill. I would have gladly paid that but when he started cleaning, I noticed he wasn't cleaning the screens and sills. That was when he told me about the extra cost. Once again, I was upset about the original quote I received. You don't have to degrade my house and call me a liar about my previous window cleaning. The "technician," Yuri, (who was described as "one of their best) showed up on the appointed date but 1/2 hour late. He requoted me $1100+, said it was a full-day job. He promised to clean the frames, the sills, etc., inside and out. We agreed on $900 (I'm not sure why we fell for this) and he proceeded to: clean the second story standing on the ground, no ladder and not clean the tracks, sills or frames as promised, and spending only a few hours. When we had him come back to finish the job correctly, he had every possible excuse for the dead flies, cobwebs, and piles of dirt on the tracks and sills, including that that was not included for our $900. Our home is older and the frames and the mechanisms of our eight pane storm windows are all a little finicky. Made no difference for the technician Our man was Yurii, he's been with the company about a year and he did a fantastic job including explaining what needed to be repaired and what special care needed to be shown to some of our older, more delicate components. I called the company and said that seemed high as they quoted me $650 to do inside and out 9 months earlier. The office person said the person on site would have a better ability to give me a quote. I agreed. BIG mistake. He was finished in 2 hours which means they charged me $225/hr. A total scam. I refused to give them my credit card and paid them $300 ($150/hr) by check, which was more than generous for 2 hours of work. After many harassing calls and emails from them, I noticed they somehow accessed my credit card and charged it without my permission. I have filed a claim with my credit card.
