I am not a gambler and stayed in the hotel simply as a last stop on my way home. My cousin and I stayed in Building A which is accessed on the back side of the hotel. The front of the building looks fine, it's the back that needs work. Not only is the paint peeling on the buildings in multiple areas. The door leading into the corridor is absolutely filthy and in need of paint. The first thing that hits you is the strong smell of cigarette smoke and the carpet looks like it could use a good scrubbing. While the room was neat, it was not inviting at all. In fact we refused to walk barefoot on the carpet or in the bathroom and checked for bed bugs - which should give you a clue as to how the room makes you feel. We asked for a non-smoking room, but my bed covering, it was like a sheet, smelled of smoke and one of the sheets was either dirty or stained, in which case it should have been tossed. Dresser drawers wouldn't open - not that I would have placed anything in them. If you are there to gamble, it's probably okay. If you want a cheap place to sleep, that exactly what you get. To call it a 'resort' is laughable, much less charge a resort fee. There is nothing resort-like about the place. It has a feeling of being old and tired and neglected - it's just gross. We couldn't wait to leave and were on the road by 8. Would either of us stay there again? Absolutely not. I have since read many of the yelp reviews posted and you can tell management doesn't care, which is reflected by the state of the place. Don't believe any rating higher than two stars, they are probably posted by the staff. read more

If I could make a negative star I would. I called from the road and was told they had plenty of availability so just to come in and it would be 44.00. We checked in very late at night my husband was recovering from a surgery and using a cane the reservationists gave us a room that was all the way at the other end of the hotel. We went in the room and there were no lamps nor lights. Called the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do about it. The shower looked liked it had been used. The tv did not work, I could go on and on. The management did not even try to make it right. read more

This hotel and Casino was absolutely horrible! First off the room was nasty, the bedding had stains bathtub had some deep cracks and even a little hole, I was afraid what kind of bacteria was lurking around, definitely didn't want to risk my baby cutting himself of sharp edges of the cracks so had to wash him in the sink! The pool was literally 50 degrees and the jacuzzi was broken, there were holes in the hallway ceilings. I will never recommend this place to anyone!!!! Absolutely disappointing, they lure you in with a free room that is so dingy and poorly kept. The staff is lazy and unprofessional. I checked out my first nite, never again. The pools are closed, the mono rail in not working, the coupons they give you to use are only good for a few select food spots, and you can only use your cash voucher at one casino even though the resort has 3 casinos. I guess I have been spoiled by Holiday Inn Express and Other various motels over the course of my life. I really want a coffee pot in my room. A microwave is nice, refrigerators are good too. A working blow dryer would be nice however is not key. A green fee of Five dollars was funny to me as I really would have just been happier with clean towels. I did finally get some however it was frustrating to me yet saved me from having to leave a tip for housekeeping. There were zero menus in the room. The tv was great. The beds were great. It was a smoking room and so it stank really badly however Febreeze and candles took care of that. The fourth floor needs work compared to other floors but hey I got a smoking room. I enjoyed the casino its self and had fun. I also loved the food at the restaurant that was open. I was kind of taken back by nothing being open during the week really other than the gift shop and coffee shop limited in the morning which also had great coffee and service. Cost wise it was not the best deal but it was supposed to be a simi vacation. I do want to note everything was very expensive compared to what I am used to paying however Walmart was available with reasonable prices if you were willing to travel about 74 miles round trip. All in all if asked if I would stay here again I would say most likely but with the knowledge of what I was getting myself into. read more

For $50 and a place to crash this is probably up your alley. My family and I were traveling and got in around 3am, attempted to call the front desk or some type of number to let them know we are here and where to go to check in. There are ABSOLUTELY NO helpful signs anywhere to advise what door to enter. After 5 minutes of a non stop ring tone we finally just went through the casino entrance with a sign that says "use main entrance" but no other signs stating the ACTUAL "main entrance". We get checked in at 4 am to finally get into our room that had an open bar of soap on the counter no other soaps or shampoo and conditioner of the sort. So we contact house keeping to just simply ask where or how to get soap. We get told "you'll need to go downstairs to get soap" and got hung up on. So we brushed it off and attempted to get some shut eye. At 8:28am a loud sawing noise came from the room next door & a hammer hitting the wall shot us out of our sleep. So we contacted the front desk to find out why or if they could please stop for the time being. We were transferred 3 times and somehow got to security where the woman who answered stated "what would you like me to do? I'm hotel security I don't know why you were transferred to me" so we proceeded down to the front desk and checked out & received a refund. The general manager was great. But it takes an entire team to put it all together to keep guests coming back and happy. Only 4 hours of sleep and to be scared out of that sleel from maintenence I would rather sleep in my car at that point. So frustrating! read more

Came here for a family turn around and cannot believe the horrible service we were given. Firstly there were no waitress in our area while gambling. We waited and asked a gentleman working there if he could send a waitress. His reply was "I'll try" and no one ever came. So we then go to the bar near the sports betting and the bartender was a complete jerk. He started covering his ears and making faces like a 5 year old because he didn't like the loud crowd. It's a casino! When I finally got him to take my order he snatched the money out of my hand and muttered something under his breath. I was in no way rude to him prior to that so needless to say I didn't tip him. Later we went to a different bar and had a great waitress so the star is for her. read more

The spa looks great upon entering.... they have nail services there.. I don't recommend... had my nails filled then French manicure.... they say they have pink and white... but don't and my nails look shitty...no gel nails just acrylic... nails are messed up.. uneven and shape of each nail is different... worst place I have ever had my nails done... usually leave a salon feeling pretty, today just ashamed! read more

My mom is a diabetic when I booked the hotel they say specify any request I request a fridge for her insulin and they wouldn't accommodate. The front desk person was really rude no hi how are you nothing just gave us a blank look. I requested towels at 7am to shower and check out the housekeeping never came to drop off towels. In April 2016, stayed one night in room 1246 while traveling back from Park City. My 12 year old said he never wanted to stay there again. Decor is like a more stylish Motel 6, but not as clean. Pro * Towels are surprisingly plush. Cons * $9 resort fee. Not sure what this was for as the property did not appear to be very resort-like. * The dresser had not been cleaned as there was some sticky substance on the top surface. Luckily I had Lysol disinfectant wipes with me, so I wiped down the dresser top and the surfaces we were going to be in contact with. * Smoky smell not very apparent in room, but anytime the door was opened the thick smoke rushed into the room. * Noisy as footsteps were heard from above and closing doors in hallway. If you're a heavy sleeper, this should not be an issue. The windows appeared to be double-pane, but at 7:00 am, heard what may have been trash trucks arriving at the property or driving down the street. * Around 9:00 am, the blaring fire alarms went off for some reason and everyone needed to evacuate. After about 10 minutes, we were allowed to return to our room. read more

My last tour in Vegas on the way home i like to stay at the Primm the service was much better and room was excellent thanks to my host Gary , had a great time meeting some wonderful people even sang for some that means I'm feeling good , met two great ladies who toke good care of me Devine and Free both great at what they do and so sweet made my stay that much better ate at GP'S Stake House and had my favorite meal didn't get to see Nancy one busy lady but did chat with Carlos and also had some Pizza at the Pizza place the first night of my stay and it was very good , i love networking with people from all over the country they are so interesting , the room was well kept and the service was excellent , The Original Pancake House has improved a great deal the manager stays on the ball giving great service and having his staff do as well , all in all it was a great stay . read more

I have always liked primm, I remember stopping here all the time with my mom when I was a kid, lol ... Its a good bathroom stop and a place to grab a bite to eat then back on the road ... Unless I stop to shop at the outlets :) I defintly reccomend stopiing here if need be on the way into Vegas ... read more

Don't waste your time and keep driving to Vegas. While traveling in our RV we decided to stop in at the Primm Valley Resort to take a break from driving and walk around- it was nice to be able to pull into a parking lot and not have to worry about a parking space for the RV- however as soon as we went inside we knew why the place was empty and not a lot going on. Horrible food, crappy casino but a great parking lot for an RV. read more

This place is not bad. It's much more modern than Buffalo Bills. It's definitely cleaner. They have $1 margaritas, which you can't beat (lime flavor only). I'm a fan of the buffet, for sure. Between this one & the one at Buffalo Bill's, I actually like this one better. The cocktail waitresses were not as rough as BB's and the pool was a delight. It was cold but not freezing like BB's. I doubt I'd stay here as I'm not a huge fan of the state line. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER! Arrived at 6:30pm and it is now 1:14am and I still haven't received my luggage! I have much work to do for I have a work event early tomorrow morning. We were worried about staying here after reading the reviews and in fact, waited until this week to make our reservation since I was avoiding making the choice. We were coming for a concert and didn't want to attempt to drive home after. There was no waiting in line to check in. The guy was really nice and gave us information on where everything was located. Our room was perfectly fine. Clean. Good view of the pool and grassy area. Close to the casino. Had breakfast at the Pancake House and it was great!! We usually don't stay at anything less than 4 stars but this fit our needs just fine! read more

Let me start off by saying my stay at this "resort" was 100% free to me. My friend took me and she had comps from the place itself. I am not a big gambler, I think it's a waste of money and time. I am used to traveling w/ my hubby who always gets us a suite or a really nice room, and I love to eat good food. I also love being in the pool. The only thing I liked about this "resort" was the pool. It was actually a cold water pool, which I found refreshing. I do not like when the water is too warm in hot climate locations, makes no sense to me. If I wanna be warm I'll take a bath. I want a pool to cool down in. The walk to our room was soooooo loooooong. This is the worst part about our stay. Too much walking. We ate at the coffee shop, I had a french dip w/ potato salad. Both were good, and I was really suprised at the homemade potato salad, I was totally expecting the kind you can buy at the supermarket already made (ew). If I get some comps of my own or even for 25 bucks, the ONLY reason I would ever go back to this place is for the AWESOME POOL. I would rather spend all day in the pool than gamble. read more

Primm valley casinos ARE A-ok. It's just a 3 hour drive and if I wanted to rest for a while then go on to vegas I could. The casino is rather small but the layout is nice. The rooms are dirt cheap during the week and have decent entertainers. Not at all crowded and have 1.00 dogs and beer. Thats A-ok for this cheap bastige! The sports book is nicer than the other resorts. A nice quick getaway if I wanted to do a Gilligans island trip. read more

I am staying at the primm Valley Resort Casino and the experience was not great. Our room was all the way in the back. We had to walk and it felt like 5 blocks. Once we got in to the room we turned on the heater and it was cold it stayed like that whole night. The bath tub was so dirty and the floor was filthy. The furniture looked scratched and dirty. We tried to move rooms because it was very cold that night but they would not let us. The person at the front desk we were talking to said they were going to send a person to check out the heater but he never came. This hotel was one of the worst hotel I have stayed at. read more

We came in Saturday night and thought we'd get a head start on our get away. $100 plus a night for a room and hotel that doesn't own a vacuum or a cleaning crew. I made a reservation with my husband's. credit card and when my room key did not work at midnight I was informed to get my husband to verify and get up from bed to verify me. Just got back from a trip with my boyfriend n his cousin. The front desk staff (night staff) were not friendly at all n weren't helpful at all. Thank god for the cashier staff. We decided to book at the Primm resort, thinking it would be an upgrade from buffalo bills, we were wrong! The worst hotel room ever! I'm not even referring to the ugliness of the decor, or the chipped paint on the walls, door casings or the horribly scratched, outdated furniture. The room looked dirty. The beds were not made to look as if they were inviting, the pillows didn't match, the pillow cases were wrinkled the bed skirts were tucked up under so the box springs showed. There was a snickers bar wrapper on the floor and did not look vacuumed with crumbs on it. The tv remote was missing, I could go on, but lastly this non smoking room smelled like smoke, we reserved a king room and they gave us a 2 bed queen, stating they were over booked. Well, better believe next time we want to attend a concert at state-line, we will book a room in Vegas. It's worth the 45 minute drive to be able to have a clean room I'm not afraid to sleep in.
