I feel that's in direct relation to her teachers. Considering that she spends 40 hours a week with Kids R Kids McKinney. Our daughters vocabulary, verbal communication and comprehension, and math skills are in lack of better words, amazing. I've noticed both Ms. Ashton and Ms. Yessi's interaction with our daughter as well as other kids. These 2 are amazing teachers for such an young age. I feel we are very lucky to have them. Our daughter talks about them often with very kinds words, which makes me (a very involved father), feel at ease knowing she is in good hands. I can't speak for other parents, but these 2 ladies are an asset to KRK. Please let them know that we could not be more pleased with the work you are all doing. They have taken great care of my special needs son and my little one. Everyone is so kind and caring. They know all the parents and children. I apologize profusely if I'm butchering the spelling but Shamika was so incredibly kind and made my little feel so comfortable that her first time there, she gave us no fuss or tears, she was just ready to go play. My kiddo still gets nervous going to her school of 2 years with her best friends there but going to this location for the first time, she felt so at ease she went and stayed 2 hours having fun while we got our first reasonably priced date night in 3 years. Not one adult was try to help her feel better, nor talking to her & one of the care takers said,"she's just sad because her parents left." She literally looked like she was in timeout because of her crying. When you care for children, you are there for them no matter what/ no matter how many times you need to try. Taking care of children requires a special gift. They need our help constantly. 2. I picked up my son & I immediately saw his face was red, running nose & extremely hot. My son is able to speak & he told me he didn't feel good. I did not receive one phone call about my son. As a child care taker you should be more aware. Checking children constantly to make sure everything's okay. You could clearly tell something was wrong with him just by his nose running, redness on skin & just standing there like a statue. That clearly shows me that those adults don't pay close enough attention to catch something like that & my son was there for hours. He said he had been feeling that way since nap time (1pm, I picked him up around 5pm). This place of business needs way better discernment & wisdom when it comes to hiring the adults to care for children.

I have been to this location a few times with my little girl, and I've always enjoyed the experience here! It is the larger location of the two and is run by the wife, Destin, who is just amazing with the kids. Both locations are run out of homes, and this one is inside a subdivision and is a grey two story house. There is no signage outside, but the inside is great! Each room downstairs is dedicated to the kids. The living room has a TV and lots of toys and room for the kids to run around. They have an arts and crafts room, and a baby room with cribs. Both Tommie and Destin are fantastic in that they won't provide any food, or use any items without you telling them they can first. The first home daycare provider we tried was making all kinds of decisions without consulting us which is one of the reasons we left. Both of them also do a great job with working with the babies on hitting their milestones (sitting up, standing, waving, walking) and they work with the older kids on politeness and patience. I always said that the biggest way you can tell if a daycare is a good place is to look at the kids, and every time I've been here the kids have been so genuinely happy. The kids are smiling and laughing and having fun! That is what I've always wanted from a daycare provider, and I'm so grateful to have found it. The facility is filthy--sticky floors, grimy toys, and a bathroom that looks like it's never been cleaned. No wonder there is a lice outbreak right now! Curriculum is disorganized, with zero structure or learning focus; it's basically chaos. The teachers do their own thing while claiming they write their lessons and follow a program to help. Even books are given in the curriculum and they are not used as parents are told. The "snacks" are cheap. Communication with parents is nonexistent--good luck getting a response without being berated by the front office staff with an attitude. Michelle, Tanny and Annabel are all involved in this. Avoid this place at all costs; it' not worth it.
